Hello forum!!!! I got a my child british citizenship approval letter in dated 21st January 2014 and got 23rd of January 2014. How long it takes to get a british citizenship certificate? They say in a letter if you can't get a certificate within a 2 weeks time, you need to conact on the following email address.

I have booked a NCS appointment at Edinburgh office on 29th-Jan-2014. I want to submit MN1 form for my who is 12 months old and was born in UK. but I have not received BRP card yet. ILR approval date is 19-Jan-2014. My question is
- Can I use ILR approval letter instead of BRP card. does home office accept it as a proof of ILR??

My daughter did not get any approval letter, they just sent her a certificate straight away.
