My case is 7 yrs student visa, 2 yrs PSW visa and 1 yr student visa.
Not sure when the agency received the ackownledge letter as the agency posted the application for me so everything would delivery the agency 1st.

Thanks for your reply :D

rumee007 I don't think she need A1 because she have a degree from here and it was taught in English.if you go to ukba site and select settlement person spouse English requirement ,it's clearly mention that if the spouse have a degree which was taught in English then he or she don't need to pass A1 test.

hey guys,
i received my ILR 14/05/12 . just need some advice from you guys. i had my PSW visa before i got this ILR. my wife has herown PSW visa and now i want to switch her PSW visa to ILR dependant. got a interview date at PEO on birmingham. she has done MSc in HR from University of Bedfordshire which was 15 months course. now tricky question is does she need to take A1 English test as ILR dependant requirement or her MSc Certificate with awarding letter should cover her in that case. any advice will be appreciated.

Congratulations!
Seems crazy a few day's difference in March applications can lead to such a drastic difference in biometrics invitation dates...

I've been a silent observer of this thread, and though I'd add my details in as well.

Application Sent: 08/03/2012
Application Received: 09/03/2012
Confirmation Letter dated: 13/03/2012
Confirmation Letter received: 17/03/2012

Hoping to hear back by next month, going by the average time others have indicated their applications are taking.

5 years student + 1 Year SEGS + 4 years WP, though I had 2 added complications:
- Lost passport - provided a police report and photocopies of all visa pages from lost passport.
- Could not give details of all trips out of the country, prior to 2009 as entry/exit stamps were lost with previous passport.

Submitted with a ton of supporting documentation, just the wait now is killing me!

HI
i received today letter for BIOMETRIC ENROLLMENT today.

Application Sent: 27/03/2012
Application Received To HO: 28/03/2012
Confirmation Letter From HO: 02/04/2012
Biometrics Invitation Letter Dated: 11/05/2012

10 years are based on 7 years student + 3 years DSL

i have urgent question to ask here,

when UKBA asks for BIOMETRIC ENROLLMENT for ILR applications, is it mean that ILR application is 100% successful?

reason i am asking this i have to apply for my wife and 3 children's visa extension in couple of days as there visa is expiring on the 20th May 2012.

if i Guaranteed get my ILR then i don't need to apply for my children's visa (they will qualify for REGISTRATION AS BRITISH CITIZEN, as they born here in UK) and can save £800, as if my wife applies alone fees is £561 and with dependents its £1404.

regards

Applied with lots of extra information + SAR information.

Here is hoping that I get it back soon! Anyone care to guess when I get it back?
Welcome to the group, I assume that they are doing January & February applications now, I assume you may receive your passport between, end May-June, fingers cross...... I myself applied a few days before you, and hoping to receive mine about the same time.... good luck.
