10 years long residence applications

Hi vien and Adam,did you post your application after completing 10 years or in that 28 days period before 10 years?somebody told me sometimes it makes difference for processing time.

I have completed my 10 year residence back in January this year, my visa is valid till the end of November. Since January I have been waiting for UKBA, firstly on a SAR request, and then now on ILR since July.

Hi all,

it is the end of the week and only one person recieved his passport. I have a feeling that the average waiting will be 10 - 11 weeks with Vien and Adam being an exception to the case as they are heading to week 13 now.

No, mine is a single application, my spouse is british citizen. I was wondering if it has been piled under or something. I have written a letter to them 2 days ago, I'll let you know if I get any response.

I have installed the app but cant find processing time option.

On UKBA website says, "decide 95% of postal applications within six months"

Firstly congratulations to those who received their passport back recently!!

Meanwhile, for me, I am still waiting after 12 weeks now. I don't know if everyone is aware that the UKBA phone system has now changed - when you call for a progress update there is no longer any operators, instead they've left a message saying that do not contact them if your application is less than 6 month old!!

Does anyone know any ways of communicating with them whatsoever?!

Did u try the number in ur acknowledgement letter? Bcoz 3 weeks ago we rang that number & spoke to a person.

Arrived by post on 7 October.
7yrs student plus 3.5yrs Work permit holder.

Case had gaps , no lawyers involved , will post more details when i gather everythin together.

Hi,

Thanks to Allah I just received my passport. Can't describe my happiness. I think all of you can understand because its a very long journey.

The ILR is stamped on the 3rd October in Liverpool. It came back in my next day special delivery envelope which I sent with my application.

I hope and pray that all the friends waiting will receive their ILR very soon especially Adamboston and Vien1206.

I had eight years student and last two years PSW. I just sent all my passports, pics and life in uk test cert.

altfhn and hunter recived their passports within one week of stamping the ilr, making their total waiting time 8.5 weeks. i m not sure if this will be the standard waiting time but we have to see, i realy hope it is the case.

I just got my passport delivered half an hour ago with my new ILR stamp. I can't tell you how pleased I was to see my passport again. I am rather surprised that my timeline is rather shorter than others on here. I have no clue why?

I was just looking at your posting again. the processing time for your application was the same as those who recieved it after 9.5 weeks, i.e. the ILR was stamped after 7.5 weeks of sending the application, but what was faster is posting the passport. I realy hope that vien1206, adamboston, cosmic, adeel81 would recieve thier's today or tomorrow as well.
