10 years long residence applications

Hi my husband applied under the 10 year long residence

Application Posted via Royal Mail Special Delivery on 31/08/11
UKBA Received it (Online Tracking Confirmation) on 01/09/11
Payment Taken (Visa Debit Card) on 06/09/11
Acknowledgement letter dated on 06/09/11
Acknowledgement Letter received on 11/09/11

We sent a return special delivery as well for our documents to come back, on 16/09/11 we just checked for tracking online via royal mail and it said that our mail will be delivered 0n 19/09. We were so confused bcoz it as coming so quickly, we waited on Monday & Tuesday as well but received no delivery, online tracking said no delivery confirmed so spoke to royal mail on Tuesday they told us to ring back on Thursday. We rang them on Thursday but they couldn't track it down yet so wait until Friday. We were so worried bcoz al his documents are there we don't even have any photocopies. So we contacted home office on Thursday to see whether they have sent it back. the lady on the other side said for our relief that they haven't sent anything back yet ad it take at least 14 weeks for processing and our documents are with them for a shortime for it to put in their system. We were so relieved after that but still royal mail says hey have received the mail but deliver not confirmed.

It seems the HO is going to miss the 9.5 weeks waiting as 2 of the people on the list have now reached the 9.5 weeks and we have not heard from them. I realy hope that they would recieve thier passports today or by Monday.

I really don't know how the system works but what I've noticed, on the other threads particularly FLR(M) waiting time, that they are processed quicker than ILR applications.

Also by looking at other people ILR+FLR(M) experience, particularly on long residence basis, the decisions were made in the same length of time. I remember someone posted here that the FLR(M)/spouse visa was sent, to the partner, before the ILR applicant received his passport back from Liverpool.

No news guys, I'm still waiting. I'm also waiting for my wife's FLR(M) outcome. We've not heard, from the UKBA, since my wife's biometrics enrollment in late July.

I am wondering if the HO will not send your passport to you untill they finish your wifes FLR(M)do you know if this would be the case. because it is unlikely that they will stamp her visa before yours.

if vien1206 and adambosotn do not recieve their passports this week we would know that students and PSW have been given priority. However, I realy hope that each type of visa has its own processing team.

A lot of students/PSW visas are being issued this month and have been issued last month......

Couple of my mates applied for PSW and the turnaround times for them were less than 4 weeks after the Biometric.

Therefore, I believe the ILR applications are probably the lowest priority now.

Lets hope for the best. Everyone who applied has some sort of urgency and wish their visas can be issued as soon as possible, but there are only a handful number of staff at the UKBA and along with the political heat and numerous changes in the immigration laws I think they are doing a pretty good job.
