hi Dec 17 I have question from u can u plz tell me that how HO count ur days mean r they count from the date of ur first entry or they start from 1st jan to 31 dec.

Hi mate I came to Uk 2003 October my visa finished 2004 August that time I applied for extent ion 2 time rejected for payment issue 3rd time I got the visa on 11th December 2004 during that time I had 120 days gap so from 11th December 2004 to 11th December 2014 don't have any gap (10 years lawful ) I applied 17 th December .

Guys good news.
With grace of Almighty Allah my ILR application has been approved.

Application posted on 9th of Jan.
Biometrics done on 21nd Jan.
Documents received on 16 march.
recieved passport ( all documents) but waiting for BRP

Quesion: I have to go for marrige this summer and how long I can stay back home...(any limit for days)? I mean next year have to apply for passport.
Question: I have to apply wife visa what document's I need ...(full list)?
Question: I heard at heathrow asking so many question ......it's true or not

Waiting waiting is killing last 2 weeks my file with case worker I don't know when will I get almost 12 years in UK still my ILR wait not over !!!

Why it is 12 years gone and no ILR what is your case history if you would like to share.

We I have applied on 1st Dec can see most of the December application on the drive got their decision already. And now they have started procession January applications.

I can imagine the delay in my situation might be due to case which isn't really straight forward.

Congratulations to those who have received their approvals and good luck to those waiting.

I was wondering if anyone has heard about a same day service starting from April 2015 to apply for the ILR under the 10 year category. My work has agreed to sponsor my visa under the current category and put me in touch with an immigration advisory agency. They have let me know that it's hot off the press the the UKBA will be starting same day applications again from April 2015 for this category. This makes my life a lot easier since I was worried I'd have to give my passport up for a few months and I have to travel for work.

But, I can't find any reference to such an announcement or anything on the UKBA website. Any ideas on this one? I can't have been told wrong information since the immigration service is a very reputable large firm who have been operating with my company (also a large multinational - hence the capability for a visa sponsor)

One quick question guys, if somebody has completed 10 years in Jan 2014, prior to completion of his current status i.e. Tier1 general (expires in later such Dec 2015) so can he/she apply ILR on 10 years in Jan 2015?

-You need to apply before before his current visa expires so it has to be before Dec 2015 to be a the safe side. Why put your 10 years in jeopardy ?

Moral of the story is how long we can wait(to apply ILR) after the 10 years get completed ?

-Any time you want is the straight forward answer but before your current visa expires or else you leave yourself the risk of becoming an overstayer which might mean your clock will restart.

Also can they apply again on the 10 years ruling after withdrawing the case on 10 years ruling in a past( for e.g. after 6 months)

-Yes you can withdraw your application as long as the decision has not been made and opt apply again as long as you have too much money to waste on another fresh application.

They wanted to check my english ability and LIUK knowledge.
Interview was only for 10 minute.
She asked me few questions about LIUK.
How i booked it?
How i paid for test?
What material I used to study?
Why i choose that centre?
What kind of questions were there in exam?
Did you booked it your self or someone helped you to book it?

Lady was friendly and soft spoken.

At the end of interview she said your english is very good, and gave me thank you letter.
Now just need to wait for decision.
