some of you may have heard of this new service from UKBA, but i've just come a cross to this. i could not stop laughing out loud while i was reading this page .....

at least we are seeing a welcome increase in positive responses suggesting that the backlog is getting cleared

im sure august is getting cleared off now.there dont seem to be many who applied in oct/nov/dec 09?maybe not yet in this forum.

I am happy to share my good news with you guys as well. I received my ILR today. Date granted 12th March 2010.

Wow! The "received" list is now longer than the waiting list

Congrats to everyone that has received their ILR over the past week. Such a huge relief for all of you.

On a personal note, it's my 3 month (12 week) anniversary this week. If the theory is correct that rejects hear within 3 months then I see that as a positive. Another 4 months waiting to go!! Or longer .... who knows

Hello Everyone

I had posted a query on this forum but havn't received any reply so far so posting the query here as a lot of members on this thread may be in the same situation.

People who have completed all 10 years of their continuous legal stay in the UK purely on a student visa and after having applied and received their ILRs from the Home Office, what are the ‘standard documents’ they may have to submit when they are then applying for citizenship after having received their ILRs (esp. if they have neither studied nor worked in the 12 months after they received their ILRs)?

this means that for 30% of applications and not 5% the processing time is more than a year.Another foi on the internet(have already posted a link earlier) suggests that current processing target of 6 months has been reached for 70% of applicants and not 95%.

what is the average processing time of postal applications which are not completed in the 6 months service standard, in the past 6months?

471 Days*

what is the average processing time of 10 year SET (O)ILR postal applications which are not completed in the 6 months service standard, in the past 6 months.

497 Days*

what is the average waiting timeline not decided after 6 months for 5% of applicants?

This is the same question as above i.e. cases that have not been completed within 6 months and therefore the answer is 497 days.

In keeping with the spirit and effect of the Freedom of Information Act, all information is assumed to be releasable to the public unless exempt. The Department will, therefore, be simultaneously releasing to the public the information you requested together with any related information that will provide a key to its wider context.

How long did it take for you to get your SAR from the UKBA? and what kind of stuff do they provide you with?

life is brilliant with ILR granted. eventually can holiday n spent time with family.

I believe that for those whos applied in July and aug will be get in touch soon. since most of us granted ILR has stamped in early march. soon and later you will get it soon!

NOWAYOUT, please dont giving up, i had the same feeling like you before, only matter time of waiting. keep going, i am sure you n others will be the next soon.

Hi Guys,

Come to update my news. I finally got my passport with ILR back yesterday!

ILR was issued at early March, but only received it after a month time.

It seems to me that they are processing those applications made at the end of July and August last year. I believe people who haven't got passports back will hear from HO soon. Good luck everybody!

To Dolf and Hangermajor, Please tell me, did you contact the HO between tha date your ILR was stamped and the date received? If you did, what was their response?

Many apologies for the late reply. Well I applied on 24 August 2009 under 10yr legal. Did not supply any additional documents as all my passports and visa stamps are in proper order with no breaks.

After application I waited for about 4 months without contacting UKBA. But after four months I rang UKBA general information (application progress line) line for few weeks and I got the same answer. I think they read it from a template “your application is not being processedâ€
