Hi amber ,
I m living uk since 28.3.2005 so shall I apply leave to remain (ilr) on date 28.2.2015 , that's means one month before of 10 years.
2011, I applied to extend visa, unfortunately it's was refused but I 'm on appeal In court & feeling Indecision about 10 years rule.

Can you advice Me for two question.

1.shall I apply for ILR one month before of 10 years ?
2.shall I withdraw my court case which one is on going after apply the indefinite ?
It's really complicated for me if you kindly advice me what to do?

Regards
Ahmed.

Hi Arsenal49, Congratulations, party time. Can you please let us know if you expedite your case??? I rung home office this morning and they said that only Oct applications have been considered at the moment..confused??? I applied nov 8
I was sitting tight and was calming myself down with what people were posting on this forum regarding their timeline.

I resist the urge to contact HO on telephone given they tell you BS anyway. (that was my experience from my last visa application - so i taught myself to not raise my blood pressure based on what they tell me on the phone!)

My case was straight forward and there were no complications.

I think they definitely go by the date of application made as opposed to bio-enrollment date. Date of application is the most important date in the whole visa application process whereas bio-enrollment is merely an exercise which MUST be taken between date of application and the date case worker sees your application. - my 2 cents on the topic...

Hi mate Quiet agree with you . Good advice. Congrates

Hi Poirot,
there were huge number of applications made in august which affected more towards the end of august applicants on ward. now as it seems that back log has been cleared. so processing time is going down as well. lets hope for the best.
