My application was under the 19 - 22.5 private life tier and I'm seeing here that people are under different tiers so will that affect how long the process takes?
Here is my timeline:

Application sent: 27/08/2014
Acknowledgement received: 15/09/2014
Biometric letter received: 29/09/2014 Date 26/09/2014
Biometric recorded: 3/10/2014
Approval date: Not yet received
Docs received: Not yet received
BRP: Not yet received

Hi
Actually i have applied for ILR on 10 years long residency route in the first week of june using TOEIC certificate, i sent them PTE english certificate as soon as i came to know about the ETS scam, now the home office has put my application on hold despite sending them a new english certificate which doesn't make sense as i have never used TOEIC before for any type of visa extension, is anybody here who is in the same situation as me and got his ILR or still waiting for the decision.

thanks

Not biometrics but those who sent their applications in october. Your one is long due mate, you should call them twice a week at least to get updates.

SJ307 wrote:I'll apply for ILR (10 year basis) in few months time. As HO takes 3-4 months to process the application, my current visa (Tier 2 General) will expire within this waiting period. My employer told me they will require some form of document that says I'm eligible to work, in order to continue my job beyond the Tier 2 visa expiry date.
So, my questions are,
1. Does the acknowledgement letter from HO say anything regards to this? - I doubt it. But if it does, I can then provide a copy to my employer.
2. Is it possible to request this from HO when I apply for ILR.
Hi SJ307
You will get your right to work and your status information while your application with the home with the biometric invitation letter. Home office don't give other letter to prove status. If your employer ask then just tell them that they can check your status and right work after the current visa expired by filling an online form for employer to check employee status. It is very clear from home office guideline if you apply for visa extension before you current visa expired then it automatically extend you leave until you receive a decision from home office
