Congratulations brother @haratsharma:) Very happy for you. Enjoy the long awaited freedom and hope our spouses get theirs soon. I haven't got my BRP yet either though I called DX they said they'll be out and about tomorrow between 9-1pm with my stuff. Let's see if they manage to turn up! If you want to call them it's on 01604782806 and give your post code if you haven't already done that. Best wishes

Guys come on,

This forum is to ask questions, provide help to others and also share any other information.

Well, what I am trying to say is we have only seen one approval for today and yesterday - though the tracker has more. We all know that the tracker can no longer be trusted. So I am going to make the following polite requests:

- When you get your approval please come back here and leave a comment on the forum to say when you got the approval. If no one did it we wouldn't have a forum. So every addition counts.

- If for some unfortunate reason it gets rejected then please let us know as well.

During the time of certain members in the recent past eg Spatacus this place was very lively. But now it seems like it's going down. It's our responsibility to keep this going as it's a great tool. So let's login time to time and share what we can.

Thanks all,

A person in waiting. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Here i am again seeking ur valuable advice and suggestion. As i received my ILR yesterday now i would like tojoin my wife from india. So can you please suggest me regarding documents and the entire process. Just to let you know i work part time and has registered sole trader business. I have little knowledge regarding dependent application. But please anyone from forum light on my case please. Much appreciated :? :D :?
You should have sponsored your wife on your previous category as once you get ILR and sponsor someone from outside EU is not that straight forward process. The most important requirements are £18.6K annual salary to support your wife only and if you have one kid then it is around 22.5k. She has to have A1 level of English test result from approved HO test provider or UK NARIC equivalent bachelor or above level degree which was taught in English. document of the subsistence relationship with your wife plus many other requirements. Please be aware as you mentioned you are self-employed then the paper requirements are much more than those who are working solely on PAYE. There is a separate thread in this forum in relation to this topic. Please have a look at that and gather your documents as per that requirement.
Good luck.
@Arsal Thanks buddy i know it is difficult one while showing income throguh self employed as i dont have kid so just i have to show18,600. I have part time job too. And yea my wife was on student visa from 6 sept,12 to Feb,14 than she went to india. She got Master degree from University. But I need to know more indepth about Self employ part. Can you please provide more light on it and which is the active thread for this query need to discuss. Many Thanks once again !!! :D :D
Brother, to be honest I am not conversant with self-employment process but I noticed the self-employment documentation requirements is a bit complex compared to PAYE where you have to show just 6 months salary/ 6 months bank statement and employment letter. I recently applied for my wife visa extension through FLR M as she is currently based in the UK, I sponsored her from Pakistan last year as a Tier 1 dependant and now I extending her visa using FLR M application.
I don’t know exactly which entry clearance visa application is required as FLR M visa is not relevant for your wife but you can have a look the FLR M visa for self-employment financial requirement.

Not sure but he disappeared without informing what was the outcome. He was the regular user of this forum but since he tracked his return delivery no sign of him.

Hi can anyone help me with this question on FLRM(form). I recently got ILR and filling the form for my wife. She has got tier 1 (Genereal)Partner visa. The following is a question which is very confusing. Please can any experience person advise me on the below question.

Section(2)

Is this the first time you have applied for a visa or extension of stay in one of the above
categories (including previous leave granted as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner) with your
current sponsor?
Yes No

2.3 Please indicate what stage of extension of leave you are applying for or why you are
choosing to extend your current leave in one of the above categories.

-->First period of leave to remain (following an initial period of entry clearance as a partner of a
settled person, or following an initial period of entry clearance as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil
partner of a settled person - 6 months)

-->Second period of leave to remain (following initial grant of leave to remain).

-->You are making a first application from within the UK but have not previously had leave to
enter/remain as a partner.

I called the HO literally 5 minutes back and the guy checked and mentioned they are still dealing with September. Why is the HO giving mixed messages? Are they enjoying our suffering? :)

@ Maddy you're quite - all okay?

@mazeen1910 ...Discrepancy in the information provided is just because some experinced satff knows what they are doing and dig deep and give more info then others ...... yes october applicants must have started as I expected the last week of jan they will start anyways ...

Now there are quite few sep applicants waiting ..... yes they should get their decesions soon its just that some lazy case workers sit on some applications for long time .......while some finish the work start taking more apps ;-)

Hi All, Called home office today , lady on the phone confirmed after checking the system that they are still looking into September case. October cases are not started yet. She said they get updates every Monday regard application schedule. thought I share.
