Hello Amir

I applied 2 weeks before you and last week I called HO and I got the same answer as yours . I put questions and answers I made with HO and asked for help on this forum to understand the outcome of my conversation but regret to say that nobody bothered to do so. Was really disappoiting. I dont know brother what say?. Just pray and wait. May the Almighty bless us with success soon . Amen
@nazar,mate i appreciate you have put your conversation on the forum you had with HO but there is difference between asking for a query or sharing your experience on the forum.if i make a call to HO and and the other hand tell me that my app is still under process then i will only share my call experience on the forum as i know exactly what is meant by under process or under consideration.once again apologies if you have been ignored on the forum.

@amerabbas,mate i could guarantee that you are still not alone on the boat as many of us are on the same boat.i called yesterday and i have been given the same answer.just calm down and pray for yourself and as well as for all of us.we could never ever get satisfied the way HO gives us reply and the best thing is not to bother them of just once a week is fine.

My friend came to this country on 10 February 2005 , his current visa finished on 05 January 2015 he still dint make any application because he booked for LIUK exam on 26th jan . He plan to apply for SET(LR) on 26th because he needs the passport to attend the exam he is still ok under 28days (section 3c )will cover to him or he may fall out time application he is confused he met 3 solicitor they advise him he is fine even he applies with in 28 dys time will calculate as in time application . Can any one could answer this . Thx
@dec,he must fall within the 28 days rules and his application must not refused especially on these rules but he must be confident that he never had troubled in the past 10 years and he is meeting all the other criteria for the application.this is a very tricky question and the HO himself are not been able to fully define the rule as some times there are cases been refused and many times cases got approvals.one thing is clear that he will be count an overstayer because he is gonna make an out of time application and as for as my little knowledge is concerned any out of time application is not protected under 3c or 3d and your friend must declare when the form ask about have you ever been overstayer?but you could also consult with some good solicitor,in general your friend is covered under 28 days rules and he should be fine.

@immi,mate the safest date for your to apply is the 2nd of march which is probably monday if you have not got any problem with your leave to remain means its not going to expire on that date.do not let your application to get refused with one or two days delays as there are lots of inexperience people deals when the applications comes inn the HO.

@immi,mate if your wife has a uk degree then she is not required to do B1.i am pretty much sure she only needs A1 at the moment for the flr(m) but at the time of set lr whenever she becomes illegible she would also required life in the uk plus B1 if she has not got a uk degree or a degree which has been taught in english.Courses details are available on the HO website.

@immi, As far I know if your wife is here in UK more then five years on dependent visa of Tier then she is eligible for ILR on Set (O). She need to Pass B1 and Life in UK.
Send your application first once you got your done. Then apply for same service for her ILR. I have already consulted with two solicitors about this matter. You can consult aswell for your satisfaction.

Thanks
Tahir

Wrong advice. The rules are changed since April last year and any time spent before that will not be counted. She need to apply FLR (M) and will need to spend five years so to apply for her ILR. Unless she qualifies for 10 years long residence in her own rights before 5 years of FLR(M).
Hope this helps
Get a advice from solicitor as my I am going to apply for my wife through solicitor. As he said to me she is already your dependent for more then 8 years then she dont need apply for FLR (M). As she is here before July 2012. This law only for july 2012 to cover your 5 years on dependent.

Guys come on,

I know many of you should have got approvals today (mainly September applicants). So please share the good news with us and update the tracker.

We should at least see 6 or 7 approvals today and so far we have none  ..

@maddy I see the tracker is updated for your approval, does that mean you have got the approval or as usual some idiot is messing up?

Here i am again seeking ur valuable advice and suggestion. As i received my ILR yesterday now i would like tojoin my wife from india. So can you please suggest me regarding documents and the entire process. Just to let you know i work part time and has registered sole trader business. I have little knowledge regarding dependent application. But please anyone from forum light on my case please. Much appreciated :? :D :?
You should have sponsored your wife on your previous category as once you get ILR and sponsor someone from outside EU is not that straight forward process. The most important requirements are £18.6K annual salary to support your wife only and if you have one kid then it is around 22.5k. She has to have A1 level of English test result from approved HO test provider or UK NARIC equivalent bachelor or above level degree which was taught in English. document of the subsistence relationship with your wife plus many other requirements. Please be aware as you mentioned you are self-employed then the paper requirements are much more than those who are working solely on PAYE. There is a separate thread in this forum in relation to this topic. Please have a look at that and gather your documents as per that requirement.
Good luck.

Those of you waiting my prayers and well wishes for you.

I'm still waiting for my wife's FLR(M) application though which was sent on 17th Nov. Do you guys recommend to send copies of my approval so that they can start processing her app or they are doing it anyway and just ring them?

Do you guys have number for DX courier because I'm still waiting for BRP? @bharatsharma...thanks for your kind words of support and assurance and I hope and pray yours will arrive soon.

@angelstha, for the reasons they have refused your app I've had identical issue but they approved mine so it must be a mistake by case worker to reject your application. Be strong and patient and fight for what's rightfully yours and I'm sure you'll get positive result. Thanks for all your support.
Many congratulations. Hopefully you are feeling great now and relieved. With regards to your wife's FLR(M), it's good idea to send the approval letter to speed up the process. They tend to clear the spouse application withing a week from main sponsor receiving ILR but it's always good to tap them at right time as you have the approval letter now. Hopefully you will receive her documents as well. Best of luck.
Thanks bro, I think I'll do that...write to them about my ILR approval and try to give them a hurry up! Any news on yours yet?
