Shereen, as sweet as her name is and you were trying to be flirtatious over the phone. You should be careful as calls are usually recorded for quality and training purposes lol

HO is being stuck with the August applications since October and this is now middle of December. Its a good news that HO has now moved out of August applications and started September applications. All the outstanding august applications will be completed concurrently with September applications.

Agree even thats true ;-) . I made call just to reconfirm not that I trust @imran I just wanted to make sure the HO are not playing around and it is indeed true they have started september applications along with the remaining august applications ...end of this week will give us a clear picture ;-)

my date ot 21st dec approval still stands ;-)
Did she mention any specific September date or just month of September only?

Congratulations in advance, could you please let us know when did you apply your application. You name doesn't seem to be exist on tracker.

I also called HO this morning and they advised me that it is currently being processed and nothing else.
I have apply in june
Would you mind sharing your case history as it seems quite a long time and almost 6 months as per HO standard timeframe.

@ Arsal385

HO words : You have 6 months processing time : Means that the application is still waiting to be assigned to case worker ..
: Currently being processed : most of the times allocated to Case worker and ( with in 2 weeks you get letter )
: You will hear from us shortly : Most of the times letter has been dispatched ( with in 1 week you get your letter )

So basically when you call HO ask the main question is my application allocated to case worker and if they YES ... ask them the date it was allocated they will tell you that gives clear picture .

What say folks ;-)[/quote]

You are absolutely spot on. But again it varies from application to application.

Usually 35-45 applications in a month seems to be the way the tracker suggests . so weekly say around 8-12 apps on an average ;-)

Not sure but this is probably HO last full working week prior to Xmas break and I believe they will be busy in reducing the august backlog, so don't expect and miracle and September applications will likely by considered in January next year.

I'll be applying for my ILR on the 10yr long residence basis in a few days. I have been in the UK since Sept 2003. Its about 11 yrs. I had completed M.Sc from a British University and currently doing Phd (with scholarship). I have few questions, if any one can clearly answer me pls:

1. in 2006, I had a NI10 conviction, which I was officially convicted in 2007. As a newly passed driver I had 6points, lost my licence and paid around £250 as fine. The points were taken off in 2012. I think the conviction is spent. I had a CRB check last year which showed nothing. I am wondering, do I have to declare it as criminal offence in my application form? I consulted a lawyer, who suggested me not to tick in criminal conviction section but to declare it as '6 spent driving offence points ' in the empty space at the end of section E; would it be a good idea?
2. I have a CCJ against me, which was made in Aug 2014. I have a payment plan and paying instalment monthly. Do I have to declare it as a civil penalty (or in the same section). Would it affect my application.
3. How long the application takes to process by the UKBA now a days?

Please follow your lawyer suggestion.

As long as you are paying your debt in instalments it should be fine. It is worth checking online, I cant remember but there is a website where you can see your status.
3. How long the application takes to process by the UKBA now a days?
Based on current trend, If your application is straight forward then it should take between 14-20 weeks. However, HO standard timeframe is 6 months.
