I thought I would skip the board for few days and come back to inundated amount of approved application for August! Clearly not the case

Hopefully this will be a better week especially for the ones who are living on the edge....

Fingers crossed UKVI will be kind to our perseverance this week :!:

When I apply for ILR next year, I'll be in the same position as you - need to inform HO to hold my wife's application until mine is processed. I thought I'll draft a cover letter myself - but having a sample would be always handy.

saleem19k, did you get any response to your earlier post?

I can't remember exactly but I think its option 3 or check progress on an outstanding application. After they pick up (which can be a while) just say I'd like to give you my case ID and then take it on from there. Otherwise they could always fob you off by quoting the standard 6mth SLA.

on that point, would be interesting to know what other members do???

Hi ac2107

Congragulations mate long wait is over for you enjoy the freedom. Could you please share weather it was from Liverpool or Bristol. I have noticed from my previous applications and others who has received their applications, HO sent applications on every Friday as I always receive my applications on Sat and I always use SD return envelop. But maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks Allesheikh, my approval letter is from Liverpool.

Thanks maddysheffield! I think I am pretty lucky to get the ILR before Christmas and I DO wish fielddrive get his soon as well. Yes, he is absolutely helpful and deserves to have a quick approval for his effort in helping us. I did try to restore it to previous version but somehow google drive constantly tells me the network is nor working...

I wish you will have yours soon mate! I really enjoyed reading your messages because they are both fun and informative. Wait, I think you said you will keep away from the forum during the weekend? Seems it is too addictive to stay away after all! Have a nice weekend!

Good Morning friends

I started a new topic for all of us who are going to apply ILR on the basis of long term residence

This is my second application . my first application for entrepreneur was rejected in march 2013. my appeal hearing date was in November and it dismissed on 16 of nov. i applied for the permission of UTT and still waiting for the answer, however im completing 10 years lawfull residence on 20th of December2014 ,I came in uk on 20th December 2004
Im a self employed and im earning more than 18600 after tax. my wife is going to apply with me but the different application for the spouse visa. I have passed life in uk test last month and I have done mastars here so I don't think I need to pass the English language test, however my wife passed her esol test lavel A from trinity college.i don't have any criminal conviction no ccjs everything is clean on my record I have checked it with trust online (they keep records for ccjs and any criminal convictions) and I have checked it on Experian also, everything is clean on my credit history report.

im going to send this 2nd application as soon I get reply from the FTT for the permission OF UTT

is there anything else I should eb worried about?
hope for the best and ready for the 2nd application, inshallah I hope im gona win this battle this time

please give your views and your timelines,, thank you
regards
