i completely understand how you feel about the google drive being messed up. Many forum members are already very angry at who ever has done it. But hey there is no need to wish anybody bad luck at this time. Don't worry i have already contacted the moderators and i believe they will resolve it in due time.

i am really surprised to see that many people do not understand the meaning of HELP FROM OTHERS

ITS a very simple to ask someone to amend the data on the spreadsheet

the only other explatnation of this SPREADSHEET mess is that

SOMEONE MESSES IT INTENTIONALLY just to play with others feeling

Do you know whether the application is decided by application date or biometrics date ?

I would assume the application date but a delayed biometrics enrolment would have an inadvertent effect on application processing time, like in my case

May be I'm wrong but looking at the databases it seems the applications are dealt on the basis of dates rather than Biometric . only reason some applicants on the same day might get the result quickly might be
1. straight forward applications
2. Most important some Case workers SIT on applications to kill time or due to some advisors who sit on the applications doing the normal checks sit on applications and take time to send it to case workers .

( Main reason for advisors to sit on applications is that they are temporary workers employed by HO during peak times and when they have information that they have less applications coming the following month( in this case Aug -Sep were high but Oct and NOV there are few ... ) so to make sure their contract gets going they tend to do the check slowly to extend their contract .

I know this because I work for one of these organisations don't ask me which dept

Thanks for keeping an eye out for us, very kind.

I have been checking my Royal Mail tracking every evening, and so far no updates.

I hope all those who have applied around mid-Aug get positive replies by end of this week.

My time line is on shared drive, and case is straight forward.

2004 - First entry
5 years - Study BEng/MSc
2 years - PSW
1.5 years - Tier 1( applied early for extention)
2 year - Tier1 - extention( applied early for ILR, 1 year remaining on Tier1)

I don't have best of the knowledge, but I am more than willing to help if someone have any questions.

sometime it takes longer then we imagine
i sent them prepaid recorded envelop, so they can send me biometric

you have waited long to apply i would suggest you to wait. stressing yourself will not help
you can contact next week to find out what has happened.

does anyone know if we suppose to send a photocopy of the application and the original application form to HO when applying for SET(LR)??

i know that we need to send copies of pp and other documents with the application.
