Its personal experience but though ill share with you guys who are waiting eagerly like me.
You are right there people who have been the victim of TOEIC have to wait till God knows when including me. So i have made peace with the faith that it will come when it's time. Have faith in ALLAH but i do get the usual stress attacks every now and then.

You need to be prepared to have your treaty right documents ready as HO can ask you anytime whilst your application is under consideration.
Hello,
if you have all the relevant documents to prove your wife's exercising treaty rights in the UK then you should be fine and this would not affect your application at all. Unless of course you cannot provide it to the HO then it might be a problem.

Hello. As suggested elsewhere on this board, it is better to apply as soon as you are eligible so you can join the queue. If 20 December is the earliest date at which you can apply, then I suggest you post your application via Royal Mail special delivery on the Saturday itself. Note that you can also apply up to 28 days prior to your eligible date (e.g. 22 November if your original UK entry date was 20 December 2004).

You will find the Christmas cut off times on Royal Mail's website: http://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/ ... -Final.pdf

All the best.

I would suggest you to apply ASAP once you are eligible for ILR to join the queue.
HO usually open in December except the xmas and boxing days so you are OK to apply in late December.

Hey Guys

I hope you are well.

Can someone please confirm the English language requirement for spouse of Long residence applicant who is applying for 2.5years firsrt extensions?
Is it:
CEFR B1 for speaking and listening only?
or overall CEFRB1?

The reason I am asking is a friend of mine did the BULATS English exams she scored B2 in Speaking, Listening and reading however in writing she scored A2 and what I don't understand is her overall score is A2! I would have thought the average would be B1?!

The consideration on the result is going to take time so just wanted to ask if the current result would be sufficient evidence for English Language under FLR (M) category?

Your input will be very helpful.

Thanks
Appex

Hope it comes through soon.

One question for your guys.

My wife came to the UK as my PBS dependent with her visa issued March 2012. This visa is going to expire on 05 January 2015 and I am not very hopeful of my ILR coming through before then.

What visa do I apply for her so she can continue to live in the UK? Will it effect her eligibility for ILR? Any help would be much appreciated.

PS: Can someone add me to the google spreadsheet? Not sure if I can edit it myself.
I surmise you will have to apply for your wife on Form FLR(M) whilst also meeting the £18,600 household income threshold.

All the very best.
Scenario 1: Should you receive your ilr before her visa expires you can make an application FLR (M) for her to become a dependent of a settle person, you can't make any such application unless you are settled here. Also, you have to meet the income threshold. But the point is you may not be able to apply before her visa expires on January 5 as you have just applied. I guess your one will be sorted some time end of January or in February.

Scenario 2: In the meantime, before her visa expires you should make an application for her as FLR (O) just to stop her being an over stayer. while you make such application you should write a cover letter explaining your circumstances and request the HO to hold her application unless any decision is made on your application. Once you have received your application you should withdraw/vary her flr (o) application to make a FLR(M) application. In this circumstances you can adjust/vary the application fee paid in the first place. Hope that helps. mizanbg
thanks mate, much appreciated

Hello everyone and many congratulations to all the brothers and sisters who are getting their ilr.

Finallllly the great saga of invitation of biometrics is ended now. My question is after the submission of biometrics applications how long they take to make the crb and other checks and secondly does an application goes in the que when they email you the case Id as my biometrics came through after 2 and half months and first they email me a case id back in sep and then they email me a new case id on 11th nov. Does my timeline starts from now towards the decision or my application will be considered from 1st of sep when i initially submitted my application?
Thanks to all for taking time to read my request

Applied 1st sep14
Case id recived on email on 23 sep
New case id received on 11thnov
Biometrics recived on 13th nov
Ilr?????
