Bio metric received 19 sep 14
Biometric enrolled 19 sep 14
Still waiting....
Has anyone applied recently and has received please post what is the average time these days. thanks ali

what to do if i am sort of £250 for the financial requirement for FLR (M)??
i mean my salary comes up to £18350 for the last year

Hello meghankit,
i don't think there is anything you can do at the moment if you fall short of £250 from meeting the £18,600
All you can do is to use application form FLR(FP). Most senior members of this forum can advise you more on this.

Spatacus is absolutely right. Or the second option for you is to show required saving in your bank account for the past six month to apply on flr(m). The amount you need to show will be £16650. Hope this make sense to you

I applied for Entrepeneure Visa last April 2013
till september 2014 i havent recieved no reply except calling them n they said it is still in process. My ten years will be completed in january. I have varied my application on 10 September 2014 from entrepeneure application to IlR early four months ago. Got aknowledgement on 18 September. Money has been taken out as well.
I had differences with partner so thats why i varied my application. In Decmeber 28 days rule will apply. All i want to know what do you guys think regarding my application and is there any chance my time will be completed before my ilr application is decided. Will the decision be on date of decision or date of application.
Will i get appeal right if rejected for early apply?

"Applications received more than 28 days before the required qualifying period is completed. You must refuse applications received more than 28 days before the applicant completes the required qualifying period for long residence. This is because the applicant has not completed the required period of leave in the UK. You must fully consider the case and mention any other reasons for refusal in addition to the applicant not spending enough time in the UK to complete the qualifying period. For
example, all breaks in continuous residence. Applicants who are refused under the long residence rules due to them submitting their
application too early can re-apply once they have completed their qualifying leave or up to 28 days before this."

If you say any time she can apply for ILR than how can I convince Home office about 287 a-i-d.
Is there any solid documentry evidence?

Everyone ,,,it seems the applications have been decided in a good pace ...
if you look at last year July applications were decided middle of November and December and 2014 they are decided middle of October which seems to be good news for everyone ... and seems july there were less applications don't get surprised if some Augest applications decided in October end ....lets pray and enjoy the wait

i came to uk on 10th dec 2004 on student visa however my visa was issued on 1st november 2004. i know we should not send the ILR application more than 28 days before the qualifying period. my question is whether someone has successfully applied for ILR based on the date when visa was issued?or we should follow the date when the applicant enetered uk.
UKIV GUidance says:

Your 10-year qualifying period starts from either:

when you arrived in the UK with a visa
when you were given permission to stay in the UK

Hello Guys ,

July applications are speeding up ...one of my friend ( he is not from this froum ) applied on 11TH july 2014 and he has got his ILR today 16ht OCT 2014 ...( almost three months ) ...according to him his case was so simple ...last extension was done on TIER 1 and valid untill 2016 ....

With God's grace I've received my ILR today, please see below timelines. I'll also update google drive shortly:

Application Sent: 8th July 2014
Acknowledgement Letter Date: 10th July 2014
Biometric letter received: 17th July 2014
Biometric enrolled: 18th July 2014
Decision Date: 11th October 2014 (this shows they work on weekends as well as 11th was a Saturday)
BRP received: 16th October 2014

Thx Shahjee for the reply. My husband applied in April so he got his ILR in Sept 2014. When we travelled to Pakistan one year earlier in 2013 , my child was not entitled to British citizensip but now since the visa is changed and he is settled , my ist question is can we apply for our kid's citizensip overseas? irrespective of her immigration status. Secondly, as you said could be problems if I travel as Tier 1 dependant should I switch to new stauts but its going to take long as we are expecting a second baby and his birth should be in uk. We are in a muddle. Need your suggestion plz.

brother your wife is eligible for settlement .however there is some error by home office and they refuse all tier 4 dependant cases. i hope you are aware of it. I am in the same boat as yours . i recently sent a complaint to home office saying that incorrect information is provided to me by UKVI cusomter services. i have got UKVI letter saying THAT I CAN COMBINE MY LEAVE AS TIER 4 DEPENDANT AND APPLY FOR ilr A I APPLIED MY FLRM BEFORE 6TH APRIL . I have got my peo appointment on 1st nov .iwill take that letter with me . i can forward you that letter if you send me your email my situation is exactly like yours. my suggestions to you write a similar complaint like me so that you have written proof of eligibility otherwise the case worker will not treat yuor case (there are examples like this in past from this forum)
