Congratulations to members who got ILR.
Regards
Contact number of HO is 0300 123 2241

I spoke to them today but they give you same standard reply that your application is in progress and will be contacted in due course..sometime their system get update after you recieve the approval letter so calling them is just fformality

Any news migrant 80?

For your information: i got my ilr approved on the 30the July and got the letter from HO on the 1st August and still waiting for the BRP. However, the problem is not with the second class post at all. Its the DX that cause real problem. In most cases they leave you a note saying 'U were not available at home' even though you might be at home at all times. I believe they love to come in every address for the second/third time.

My question is that on documents it says to send sponsor's current passport. My husband has got 3 pakistani passports in total. Do I need to send all three including previous or just current one. Also do I need to send his original biometric or can I send copy. Please Advice.
Thanks
Hi Healqadri,
First of all congratulations for getting the 2 years FLR(M), very few dependents managed to beat the rules change on the 06th April 2014.
Regards to your SET(M) application, you don't need to send the original passports of your husband with your application. If you check page 30 of the application they are asking for and I quote

SECTION 11 - DOCUMENTS
Your partner’s immigration status
Your partner’s current passport or travel document showing that he/she is present and settled in the UK. If you are making your application by post you can send a complete and full copy of your partner’s current passport or travel document. Every page of the passport must be copied including any blank pages

So if you are sending it by post, what you need to do is photo copy all the pages of the present passport for your husband, and photocopy only the relevant pages on the old 2 passports, like all visa pages, entry and exit stamps and the front pages with your husbands details on. And it's perfectly alright, once your provide them with these details.
I hope it helps. All the best with your application.
Kind regards
Shahjee

Dear All

A silent lurker on the forum , however the timelines posted by all you wonderful people kept me sane and gave me a rough idea as to when I could expect mine , and thanks to my lord and saviour I have received my decision letter and docs back today . My timeline as follows -

Application Posted - 02/04/14
Acknowledgement Letter Received - 10/04/14 dated 08/04/14
Biometrics Invite - Received and submitted on 24/04/14
Decision and Docs Back - 05/08/14 and decision letter dated 04/08/14

Submitted Special Delivery envelope for docs return and yesterday I logged in to check and it stated that my parcel was on it's way.

Few Points to Note -

I have used http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails rather than the usual track and trace on royal mail website as it gives a point to point info rather than a simple yes or no

From the above website I could track the following -
Although I posted on 02/04/14 through next day special delivery guaranteed by 1 PM , home office only received my application on 07/04/14 , and the rest of the timeline makes sense .

Thanks to you all for sharing your timelines , hope the ones who are waiting get an idea with my timeline as I got it from others , all the best to everyone .

Regards
Vickzkool
