Update:

I am re-posting it as an update to my earlier post as am unable to edit my earlier post.

I applied for Naturalisation for my wife and I on 23/12/2014 through NCS Newham.
It was pretty straight forward in NCS and both our applications were checked in 30 minutes.

The gentleman who checked the documents had a query on my wife's English language proof I submitted. (I submitted a letter from the University which stated the medium of education is in English). He wasn't sure if that is enough. We had used the same letter, along with the Degree Certificate, for ILR application which went through successfully.

He rang UKBA and they confirmed the letter alone would suffice as the ILR was granted after 28th (or 23rd) Oct 2014. (Our ILR was granted on 13/12/2014)

Don't worry, relax and wait. The postal system has been disturbed because of Christmas and new year holidays.
