I did attend my interview today all was fine except the countersignatory which I miss spelled and saw the interviewer circle around.
Do they reject my application on basis of this?,any one had the same problem?

No .... way:)

You are a UK citizen, they do not have right to reject your application, unless they have strong reasons to believe that you are not who you claim to be...(i.e. trying to get passport using someone else's ID details)

If people were punished by spelling mistakes, or by not remembering correct names there would be no politicians left in UK and US:) and George Bush's passport would be revoked in matter of days

Any way today HMPO customer advisor advised me that I passed my interview and passport is printed on 20/11 on the day of my interview and its on way.
Hopefully would receive by tmrw r Monday.

what worries me is when i called they said:

We have had someone else on forum whose passport application was pending for many months.

Your naturalisation took 2 years, and now something has flagged up in your passport application too.

I suspect its something to do with your background or your details closely matching with someone on some kind of watchlist/blacklist. It could be similar name, DOB, place of birth, place of residence in home country, where you studied or worked or some other details that kind of resemble with someone else.

Since home office granted you naturalisation after two years, it would appear that they would have done extensive checks and enquiries on you and decided you are not the "bad person". Now since HMPO has picked up the same issue, I am sure they will refer it to UKBA and soon they will get confirmation that you are not that "bad person" but someone else. It might take a few weeks though.
