My biometric letter took 2 months from the date of application. Useless question but does anyone else also had the similar wait when applied with ncs wandsworth?

Sure,Looks like something isn't correct with NCS Wandsworth as i applied on the 29th July and haven't even had an ack letter.
Atleast u had ack letter and biometric letter.

i have seen flood of approvals who applied on may,but they have acknowledgement letter dated on June. i think our 6 month period started from date on acknowledge so this seems that current trend is for June so i think we will get ours on end of this months or beginning of next month

It does appear to be speeding up now that summer holidays have passed, and they apparently worked through a rush of applicants in April.

It looks like somone with the nick otaatepe who submitted application on 30 July was approved, as per spreadsheet:



However, no approval date was entered, so I am suspecting that this is an error. Perhaps someone accidentally selected "approved" from the drop down menu. Will the real otaatepe please come forward and confirm if this is the case

Received a phone call from caseworker in Liverpool yesterday saying he was 'looking' at my application and 'if' approved they cannot grant the certificate in my married name as my passport is in my maiden name as it will cause problems with the passport office. I told him my current passport expires in December and was going to apply for a new one in my married name. He said he will have to check with the passport office if this is ok. I told him to be honest I was not that bothered that they could do it in either name.

Hoping and praying for some good news soon. At least they are looking at July applications and we should be getting some results soon

Well, im otaatepe and when i saw it iwas pretty surprised. Its a mistake a believe and i updated the row for this reason.
Editing shouldnt be allowed there. People should send their aupdates via email and the person on charge of this table should update it.
Im still waiting for my approval.

I applied 12th July. However, I have to travel soon, so requested back my passport last night. Hope this does not delay my application approval... Probably should have waited couple more weeks, but really hate doing things last minute...

I dont see that as much of an issue as we applied though a solicitor and got our passport back on same day as solicitor can attest and send off the application. I dont see why case worker would have a problem as they could have inspected the passport inside out by now!
