Well, here is my timeline:

Application sent: October 2015
Biometric sent: November 2015
COA received : December 2015
PR Received: ?????

Based on the timeline given by others I'm calculating a reply by mid - late April 2015.

Like you all, the wait is just killing.

Did you guys applied by a lawyer or by yourself ? And does it make really a difference or not , thanx

I went without a lawyer a I've had bad experience with them before. Also, I've read that it does not make a difference in relation to processing time line.

I went without a lawyer a I've had bad experience with them before. Also, I've read that it does not make a difference in relation to processing time line.
I applied myself. Those lawyers just keep reaping you off. So I decided to do it myself.

So what would be the reason for our delay ?? I have only 4 days and ill have 6 monthea passed on ma application since i sent it ..

That's just the thing.. timings!

I'm not sure as to when the 6 month deadline clock started?

Is it from date application receipt by HO, date money taken for application, date biometric done or date COA received?

I think from COA date cos its mentioned that they ll havd decision within the next 6 months , which means from the date of the certificate but hope after Easter they ll hurry up a bit ..

I guess.

Well, due to their decision not being made yet, I lost out on spending the holidays with my daughter when she went to look for her grandparents abroad. This is a trip that we as a family always make, but no docs for me, meant I had to stay. :-(

Hi all,
Just to let you know that my wife received her EEA residence card last week on the 22nd. We had originally applied around the 18th of October. Very glad it's all done, and only around 5 months too! :)
