Hi Skar,

Very good point, before I though it was opposite . If it is like that
I will send by post next time :(

What I read on OH website is that the application trough NCS,
when rich the HO they do not need to check that much if the application
is completed as well as to check the documents, as the NCS does it.

It Should be quicker do deal with it.

Tks for sharing all this information.

Best wishes

Dal

I have two MN1 applications for my daughters that were received by the Home Office in Liverpool on April 9th 2015.

Application were made under section 3(1), children adopted abroad by British parents. The applications were sent directly from the USA by FedEx.

So far I have not received anything, and no fees have been debited yet.

Is anyone else in this situation? is there a telephone number I can call to find out what is going on?

Thanks,

Mike

Mine was received on April 17th, also sent via FedEx, and I've heard nothing back. Was your tracking signature weird at all? I'm concerned mine didn't get to the right destination and I've tried emailing them to no avail. It takes up to 20 days for them to respond and I unfortunately neglected to include some info in the first email so, again, I'm waiting (probably another 20 days). The UKVI website has a way for Americans to contact their office via an American number, but there is a charge of 1.37 GBP a minute. 1-888-6839699 However, as I understand, you can't call that number for specific information about your case so I haven't tried it yet. If you try it, can you please let me know if they gave you any useful information?

Rosdean,

I didn't need a letter from my son school as he is only 4 years.
However, your child school letter seems perfect.

I applied for my son on 09/03/2015 and still waiting.

Good luck on your children application!

Tahir
You mean to say payment not debited, no acknowledgement and no biometric notification.

Okay, thank you! Mine was "signed for" the same day, but they can't find it in their system. Ugh. This would be my luck! :|
