Yeah nm reference letters are late in coming nowadays. But if you look at it objectively, they really dont matter much as they are quite useless.

However they do give you some peace of mind so I understand your predicament.

Maybe you will get your decision before the reference letter

I will keep you posted on my status as our fees was debited on the same day!

Please check this on UKBA website, may b useful to many here.

''During the week commencing 2 November 2009, we expect to be considering applications that were received on or before 16 October 2009. Please note that this timescale is a guideline only, and some cases may take longer to consider.''

Dear All,

Today I got Tier-1 extension (from HSMP to Tier 1). I went for premium service and got my visa stamped along with dependents today.

Application Type: In Person Apllication
PEO Name: Croydon
Visa Category: HSMP
Extension : Granted for 3 years from date of expiry. In my case I got it till Mar 2013

Best wishes to other fellow applicants who are planning to apply.

Kind Regards

Hi Stud,

Congrats on your success.

I am assuming you paid by debit/credit card. So when did your fees get debited? Also do you know on which day the HO sent your documents?

If yes could you please update the poll here:

No, I think because they already sent my documents at that time and closed my file. (stamp on 27th, I sent the fax on 29th), better you put your email address on the fax which is similar email your filled in your application.

Wasa
