I can confirm that her case is with Visa Section Sheffield, and is under active consideration. I apologise for the continued delay in dealing with Mrs Sabapara’s application, but as her case is complex in nature and requires further enquiries, some of which may be outside our organisation; I am unable to say how long it will take to conclude.

Hey Neepa, looks like we are sailing in the same boat. Although I live in Mumbai I preferred to go to Pune for my application as it had slightly better processing time.

This is my timeline:
Spouse settlement Visa (priority) from Pune, India
2/05/17: Biometrics
8/05/17: Docs Received in Sheffield email
12/05/17: Asked for return envelope to U.K.(we had included a return envelope to India) which we sent on the same day
9/06/17: Enquired about application status by email
14/06/17: Reply stating the application is awaiting decision by Ukvi call centre
19/06/17: Reply by Sheffield (HO) stating that they can't give us updates until 12 weeks have gone by
18/07/17: Emailed again for status. not replied yet
24/07/17: Called Ukvi and was informed that application is still awaiting a decision and they can't do anything until 1st of August which will be the 61st working day since the receipt of email from Sheffield. I didn't believe him so we called again and they said it's from the day of biometrics and I can only call them on the 61st day to escalate the application which is tomorrow 26th July
