AOA Shatif, there are no applicants that have been processed in 41 days on this forum. This not to say that there hasn't been but it is very unlikely, as UKBA have not updated their stats on their website still at Feb.Shatif wrote:I need some help to prove bhc are processing application within 41 days anybody here.

As not all applicants join this forum, the forum members may only represent 20-25% of all UKBA Spouse applicants from Pakistan.
Also as they have a 24 weeks turnaround and a target to get 95% processed by 12 weeks, they have all the cards, applicants can only sit back and have no recourse until their application breaches the 24 weeks.
The 41 day statement is just a public relations/ marketing statement, that all.
Not a FACT.

Application Forwarded to Islamabad OC 16/03/12
Under Process at British High Commission: 30/03/12
From oc to bhc - 11 working days in transit
PROCESSING at BHC 28 working days. 41 - 28 = 13 Working days approx left before application will be back in transit
From bhc to oc - 11 working days In transit
Total 63 working days approx
In this example as you can see it has actually been 28 working days in process at BHC and from the statement British high commissioner said bhc are processing within 41 days
Does this make sense if u check with recent applications who had visa submitted at bhc u will probably find visa was processed at bhc within 41 days it's the transit from application centre to the bhc and then back again from bhc to ac that adds to the wait,
Hope this makes sense, this is wot I believe,
If people u have received their visa could advise the actual date of issue visa I'm sure it will reflect this that it was done within the 41 day process period at bhc.
Zully try it on ur timeline if u know the dates submitted and processing at bhczully wrote:Shatif.....
i Agree with Mush 2012 you are over analysing this. I know its really hard and time goes slow but your day will come don't stress. When it comes to immigration they make their own rules. And being Pakistani I think we are less liked by the ukba and they are really trying to make this hard for us. Darling have faith there nothing stronger than faith. Allah has alot nothing is too much for him just pray for yourself and both of you too that inshallah you both live a great life togeather and all this distance will make you both appriciate one another for the rest of your life.

thanks Nazia. i would imagine she would not have a problem passing it all as she is educated to post-grad from IIU.*Nazia wrote:Go for IELTS, its easier, if you fail one unit you dont have to re-sit all off it again. If she passes the listening shes passed and if she failed the speaking she will have to re-sit the speaking again and off course it comes with a fee lolr4sh1d wrote:yeh that is the plan. thanks.zully wrote:r4sh1d wrote:i understand it is optional but as she does not have a passport yet, we thought it would be easier to update her only ID document (NIC) before proceeding.
well if you are starting from scratch then go for it, start as you mean to go on it will be better for you.
now only for NADRA to open up their stupid offices so she can apply. worried about not getting her NIC in time and missing next available sitting of IELTS exam.
which language tests have people here gone for? want whatever is quickest and i understand it is IELTS?
Nothing free there innit

level of difficulty is nor a concern. priority is getting one which enables us to get a certificate in quickest time.Shatif wrote:Rashid have u considered toiec course I have checked previous test papers it's easy don't know about the ielts my husband did bulats in islr4sh1d wrote:thanks Nazia. i would imagine she would not have a problem passing it all as she is educated to post-grad from IIU.*Nazia wrote:Go for IELTS, its easier, if you fail one unit you dont have to re-sit all off it again. has anybody applied showing statements where they were using their overdraft regularly?
the six months i will submit will be quite irregular due to the fact that i have been spending on wedding and also living abroad on company secondment.
i can do a budget table and show clearly that my expenses are much less than my income but do not have savings to show for this at the moment.
Mush2012 wrote:AOA Shatif,
my point was that do not get upset if your calculation doesn't work out.
As you stated " I believe my visa decision will be made by 11/06/2012 as this will be 41 days processed at bhc", I would love it if this actually happened for you.
The problem is if it doesn't then I would not want you to be too upset as there are too many applicants at 60+ days to clearly show that their claim of 41 days is groundless PR.
The best approach is to have faith and sabr as the situation is out of your hands, I started out by looking at how long others were getting their visa granted, then quickly realised that it really depends on the ECO assigned to the application and how well he does his job.
If you feel good about looking at your target date of 11/06/2012 as when you will be granted your visa, who am I to upset you and say No you are not going to get it.
Actually in my duas for everyone on here is that they get visa granted in a reasonable 20 working days (a month) I am sure they could match the stats for the USA spouse applicants if they wanted to, but since we are of Pakistan origin, well then we get special treatment.
