What date ur status changed processing at bhc do u remember the date

Eg my process to bhc is 12/04/12. Add 41 working days to this date as processing at bhc status

It was only an idea if it doesn't work no prob somebody mentioned it I thought I'd share it obviously not the case as visa stamped few days before collection damn I thought I was onto a winner.

Ac - bhc = working days
Bhc = 41 working days
Final check and transit same as = ac- bhc days

Add all three u will get around 63 working days

KING2 ans ZULLY (& anyone els who's recently submitted an appeal) my husband emailed AIT to find out whats going on and after over a month of recieving the appeal they've said they are unable to locate my appeal:S they asked us to email back with the following info in order to locate it..here"s the email FYI!

We are unable to locate an appeal on our database with the information that you have provided. Please complete the gridlines below with as much information as possible, and return to us with your original enquiry. This will enable us to carry out an extensive search of our records. The whole appeal process can take anything from three to eight months. Once the appeal is processed the embassy will review it again and has 19 weeks to respond.If the decision is overturned then your wife will be contacted otherwise the appeal will be sent back to UK and the appeal will proceed to a tribunal hearing giving you 8 weeks notice from the date the tribunal writes to you.

Type of appeal (e.g. Visit Visa / Immigration)

once we'd sent them these details this was the reply we got on 9.05.12:

Thank you for your e-mail. Please be advised that due to the backlog of appeals the Tribunal is currently encountering, we can confirm to you that we are only processing appeals onto our database that were received on 02.04.2012. Therefore, we can advise you that it will still be around four (4) weeks, if not more before the appeal has been recorded on our database and payment confirmed as cleared in to our Tribunal’s bank account. Once updated and confirmed, we will write to all relevant parties informing them of the next stage of the appeals procedure. Until such time you do not need to contact us again, unless there is a change in your circumstances or if the Tribunal writes to you with further instruction regarding the appeal.

this isnt to scare u guys or anything but start emailing these lot once 4weeks have passed since u sent the appeal papers asking for ackonwledgment letter and ECM deadline..

I am going to call them today i think today they'd be dealing with appeals recieved on 05.04.12 thats when they recieved mine, i'll keep u guys posted..

Could it possibly be that they can't locate it because they haven't process it yet? It hasn't been put on their system to then forward on to the embassy/BHC?

Was your appeal sent online? Or did you fill out the paper form and submit that in?

I filled out the form online last week, paid the fee and received acknowledgement the same day. I will be sending the docs in with that covering sheet they ask for us to print off shortly (you have a few days to do this anyway).

As you stated yours was 5/4, so maybe it'll be on their system in a couple of days. Part of the reason why I did it online is cause I know that it's a reliable system and that I could take screenshots here and there and store them for future reference.

I'm sure you'll have nothing to worry about.

Actually Syma, this is a minor issue in the larger scheme of things. Yes it's not ideal to be in this situation, in fact it's rather disappointing, but shit happens and well you deal with it and I'll have to deal with it as well. I just got to wait now really.

As for immigration advice, the best advice and I don't think anyone can dispute this, if you can't handle the wait or are not prepared to handle it, then maybe you should marry someone else in the UK?

yes your right, reminds me of smfn i say to my other half so often lol that i would have never gone thro this had this been an arranged marriage, i'd rather have an arrange marraige in PK..(i am not cursing arranged marriages b4 anyone takes it the wrong way, its jus my point of view that i couldnt have done it that way)

no they took the fee money frm husband's account on 16.04.12 so its def on the system.

no we sent by post, we had to submit loads of supporting documents so that seemed better.

and when i say ackowledgement letter i mean when they send u the letter saying this is the deadline that has been givien to the ECM after ur appeal was proceessed here.

yea i am hoping if not today InshAllah by monday they'll be able to give me an update on the fone atleast.

They've got everything. It's a probably a different department that answers. It'll be on the system as some point in the next 3 working days based on the handling times.

I just spoke to an AIT representative, she told me appeals been processed and payment's been cleared and they will send me the letter shortly telling me the deadline given to ECM...looks like i was worrying for no reason:)
