!) Acknowledgment letter 16 March 2016 - further letter 15 April 2016 asked for additional documents.
!) 2nd stage letter on August 2016
!) December 2016 got a letter, asked for up to date copy of GNIB, which i sent next day.

I asked for updates on my application yesterday, got this email:-

Your application is being prepared for submission to the Minister, it has
not yet been submitted. You will be informed of the Ministers decision as
expeditiously as possible.

i wonder what stage is that, maybe it is another way of saying that you application is continues to be processed.

I had a conviction, I was in the court in 2010 for overspeeding, got 4 penalty points and 120 euro fine. I paid the fine on the same day I went to the court. I mentioned it on my application and attached the proof of payment. In the middle of December 2016, I sent a letter of remorse which I believe helped to keep my application moving.

I am wishing a good luck to everyone who is waiting for their approval.
