Hi Experts,

I got ICT-short term in Aug-11 and then switched to ICT-long term in Aug-12 for 3 years and now extension under same category for 2 years. So in total I will complete 6 years in the UK.

Is there any possibility for switching over to Tier-2 General so that I can get ILR or under any other category where I can get the ILR.

My son was also born here in 2008 so I was advised by one of the solicitor that if we complete 7 years under any category, we can apply for ILR on behalf of the child who is born in the UK and lived for continuous 7 years.
