Are you non-EEA? If yes, at least you should have the Biometric letter by now. They are not issuing COA unless you submit your biometric.aukro wrote:Hello guys!
I've applied for permanent residence as a family member of EEA (spouse). Well, the timeline is next:
Sent application 12.06.2015
HO got the app 15.06.2015
Money taken 18.06.2015
And till now nothing happens, HO keeps silence
Hi IndianlonlyIndianlonly wrote:Anyone applied after July? I can't see anywhere the requirement for photo copy the original.
Is that enough sending 5 p60 for 5 years proves I got all payslips but I receive my wages weekly Soviet got over thousand payslips nd I can't send them all with photocopies?
Hi clacar, unfortunately still no newsclacar wrote:Hi everyone,
I see someone waited for a month for the confirmation of application, well I've now been waiting a week for confirmatmion of appeal. I thought I would fill people in. Last time it only took a couple of days - with the real application. PUlled it from the bank and letter through the post. Anyway, no joy so far, I was hoping it would be a quick process as an EU-national appealing. Anyway, we will see.
Still no news Forza? That's ridiculous, I've been reading the threads also about residency etc in other EU countries and yes it is just non-sense in Britain. And yes, to have looked at my reply again, it was very partisan, in fact strange, so there is of course subjectivity in this world.. something about my application didn't appeal to the woman, I think she thought it was "too casual", despite the fact that it was correct. I wanted to mention that because with all this waiting you can see that something's not right with the system of application. I mean some people waiting 3 weeks and others 4 months and more? I think incidentally that it could be to do with having applied before the biometrics and they ahve sort of left 3 or 4 people in charge of that bundle and just taken the rest of the staff to the new applications, so that minimal staffing is working off the old applications. That's only reasonable explanation to be honest. Anyway, good luck to all, hope you don't need to wait much longer Forza, and yes be interesting to hear about appeals, should anyone have gone through that process as EU. Cheers Clacar
Same here liquidweb...when I applied for RC, I received it a lot quicker - as far as I remember less than 2 months. Perhaps changing the system to biometrics application has made it slower...liquidweb wrote:Applied as non-EEA for EEA4 (PR) in May 2015.
Submitted biometric after a week.
COA took 6 weeks. Waiting game starts.
When I had applied for RC a few years back, got it in 6 weeks flat. May be things are moving a bit slower than usual at HO lately.

I have raised a FOI request to HO asking them to send stats on EEA4 from when biometrics were introduced till now. Let's see if they respond as I am intrigued.Forza_RC wrote:Same here liquidweb...when I applied for RC, I received it a lot quicker - as far as I remember less than 2 months. Hi Forza,
I am non EU
I wonder if somebody can help on my PR in passport there is no expiry date and in remark section there is nothing written on it , normally if you see residence documents its say employment and business activities allowed , in my PR on passport that section is blank.
All its written , issue date
and document certifying permanent resident.
Regards
No it does not say anything else , my PR in on passport , it's says issue date , and says document certifying permanent resident , the letter which came with it says , please see the endorsed features n passport , and an other leaflet letter says now you permanent resident and your allowed to work and business activities and other things like if have children born in UK they will be register as British , but on top of second letter , it a simple plain A4 paper , no case or ID no off the applicantliquidweb wrote:

Does it not say 'No Restrictions on the holder's activity in the United Kingdom'? If not then you have received Residence Permit and it should just have an issue date and a shiny little hologram on the top left. It is possibly on a A4 sheet.
Interesting. Though I suppose I am expecting a biometric card and not placed on my passport. Suppose it is the new layout. Well you are one of the few lucky ones who has received their PR this month. So enjoy it !imran1u wrote:No it does not say anything else , my PR in on passport , it's says issue date , and says document certifying permanent resident , the letter which came with it says , please see the endorsed features n passport , and an other leaflet letter says now you permanent resident and your allowed to work and business activities and other things like if have children born in UK they will be register as British , but on top of second letter , it a simple plain A4 paper , no case or ID no off the applicantliquidweb wrote:

Yes that would be interesting to hear from HO on PR since biometrics were introduced. Please share with us if you receive any data from the HO...liquidweb wrote:I have raised a FOI request to HO asking them to send stats on EEA4 from when biometrics were introduced till now. Forza_RC wrote:Hi everyone,
I received my COA this morning. I think HO is processing the applications quicker this year as my friend received her PR card yesterday and she applied for it just last month!
Hi liquidweb, yes it's really annoying process. EU citizens receive their PRs in less than 2 months but for non-EUs timeline is really too long. I applied over 4 months ago and have no idea when this waiting will be over.liquidweb wrote:Forza_RC wrote:Hi everyone,

Was going through some old post and I am amazed that you are still waiting Forza. I wonder what is waiting for rest of us. It is close to 4 months since you posted that.
Hi Indianlonly, I do not think not including your last payslip would be an issue at all and it would not be a reason for HO to reject your application. Did you include P60s for the 5 years period?Indianlonly wrote:Anyone sent application in July. I sent mine yesterday and I sent my application original and copies and the new application does not require copies and original ( required only original) and I didn't include my last payslip because it was missing is that big issue and enough reason to reject my application? My application following reg (15)(1) (f).
Thank duds
