Hi Zimba,

Thank you so very much!

Your quick and valuable responses are very much appreciated!

I just checked the HMRC record and it appears that I have NI shortfall from the years before Tier 2 commenced (when I was a student). Will it cause any issues?
The webpage tells me that I can voluntarily pay the shortfall. Please kindly advise.

Thanks and regards,

Raheem

That is for state pension entitlements. Ignore it

Dear Zimba, AmazonianX, Vinny and Everyone,

Praise be to God!

A quick update to inform you all that I have received an email confirmation this morning that my ILR application has been successful.
I take this moment to thank each one of you so very much for your generous help and support throughout the time. Your help will always be appreciated, remembered and valued.

I attended the biometrics on the 26th (Friday) and received the email on Monday morning. It was a super priority application.

A big relief for now. However, I still have to endure the processing pains for my wife and my child as they are currently on my Tier 2 Dependant visa (due to expire September 2022). I will be in touch with you guys if I need any help.

Have a good day!

Thanks and regards,
Raheem

Congratulations. This thread and your case is yet another proof that many of the common concerns regarding the Skilled Worker route to ILR are baseless. Stick to the rules and the guide and you are golden

Dear Zimba,

Thank you so much :)

You were on point about the concerns I had all along.

Just in case anyone following or looking at this thread at a near future date, I did not mention anything related to the verbal warning, missing NI from earlier years and reduced salary due to reduction in hours Issues in my application.

I wish the best for everyone going through the process.

Have a pleasant day!

Thanks and regards

Raheem
