Happy you got your card now... I just started reading this forum yesterday as I will be sending my EEA4 application on Monday morning and wanted to be prepared, hoping it wont take 2 years!

As your journey ends, mine begins?

Just to let you know I've got my Residence Permit Card (is actually a sticker stamp on the passaport) this morning. After 2 painful years it is all done![]()
The process was finished by 10th December but the call center only told me the decision was made on the 14th, and that they've dispatched the docs on the 4th, received today.
Good luck everyone, hope your process goes better than mine did
Have a good 2010,
We applied using EEA3 and EEA4 and got our passports back a week short of 4 months. COA took 2 weeks time. It wasn't a very straightforward application because it was a self-sufficient case and still didn't take long. The whole point is to provide every single paper from the beginning. We haven't been asked to provide any additional documents.savas1234 wrote:hi Mr Anwarj, wishing you very good luck , with home office its always hopeless though, anyway i can tell you that even if you think that you have provided all the required documents the home office with no doubt will ask you about extra additional and that i bet not before at least 8-12 months from the date you sent according to their performance these days , unless as you mentioned something changes within their system.
all the best
take care
