sabrinakhan wrote:ive send my appeal to abu dhabi visa section does any one knows what happens now i mean i have read there web site.its all to confusing how long b4 they send my appeal to ait in uk and will they send my appeal with the bundle or do they send bundle at a latter date. and than how long b4 i get my hearing date what i have read is that they give u a hearing date after 12 weeks if u send ur appeal to the visa section first but every one says here it can take up to a 6 months or a year can any one explain please thanks
Who told you to send bundle with your appeal ? It looks that you are doing everything on your own without consulting Soliciator. Once you will get hearing date from AIT then you need to send bundle at that time. Send one copy of appeal to UK section as well you will get the fax number from your appeal form. Out of country appeal takes atleast 1 year.

Appeals on average take about 6 months to be heard at the AIT courts here in the UK.
Looking at your info, I am sorry to inform you that you have some while to go before your appeal is heard, so clam down, take a deep breath and relax till then, cos if you dont , you are simply going to make your self unwell worrying about it..
It is now out of your hand and you have to like everybody else wait for your fate to be decided.

My wifes visa is in similar situation. Its been almost 7 weeks since we lodged an appeal (at Delhi BHC). We are persistently asking for some sort of response from Delhi but to no avail. The only response (few lines, rest were standard copy and paste stuff) we got was on 3rd week when we were told that our appeal is sent to UK and that we were to contact UK for any further information. BUT ! AIT UK has not recieved our appeal yet and have confirmed me that they are looking at cases recieved in May.
I suspect, BHC will take the full allowed time before any review is done. It could be that the ECM will only review our cases maybe at end of week 12 so then that will leave the ECOs 4 weeks more to prepare the bundle and send it to UK. That will add up to be 16 weeks which is supposedly a deadline before the post formally sends the case bundle to AIT UK. Does anyone have more info on this ?

yes it does mention my offence and ive appealed now n i accepted my driving offences.and proved that the rest of the information was true abt my employment.got a sworn statement from my employer that i am employed there and all the details are true.but i am very stressed that what r the chances of me winning this appeal and ive also mentioned in my appeal that my sister cant travel and its the violation of my human rights article 8.i hope there is a violation here becaz if they bann me ill will not be able to see my sister for 10 years.please any one can tell me what are the chances here for me winning my appeal please
Without any disrespect can i say that you have come to this forum to get advice from people, and still you havent told the truth about your offence. First you said you were fined for misbehaving with a police officer, then you said you "accepted the traffic offence". I really doubt that ECO would refuse you just for a fine of £50 which was a result of some minor or petty offence. Perhaps you committed a significant traffic offence, such as driving without a license or something, probably finger printed by the police too, taken to court and then found guilty and fined. If you had told what exactly was your offence, then perhaps someone might have been able to guide you a bit better on this forum.

I tend to agree 'forgetting' is a bit of a weak excuse, provenance is surely doubted, sorry....

hi
after waiting for over 4 months i send off my appeal to AIT in UK.which they did accept and was given till September 2010 for the abu dhabi to send off there bundle but today i have received an email from abu dhabi that they have send my appeal bundle to AIT in UK. so now my appeal is lodged in 2 places. and with my appeal send to AIT in uk recently i gave in extra evidence which i couldn't provide in the appeal to abu dhabi in uk.
can any one tell me what happens now will the judge look at both the appeals together because the appeal send to AIT in UK had very important new evidence in support of my appeal.
please can any one tell me what i should do i know sending the appeal to both places was a stupid idea but i dint knew what was happening with my appeal and its been over 4 months so i was advised by AIT in UK to send it to them
ill look forward to your replies

Presumably you have reference numbers allocated to each of these appeals?
If so, write to AIT and ask for them to be amalgamated.

sorry to be more clear
the the abu dhabi reference number is the one which was written on the refusal letter and on the appeal form
