I wont answer your second question. You have to ask yourself. Why does Indefinite leave to Remain is called "Indefinite". Why? What could possibly be the expirty date on something that is Indefinite?
Tx

For the second question if I'm not wrong the ILR is issued till the Passport is valid for. I'm not too sure about this though. Read somewhere that even though it is ILR it is valid till your passport is valid? Isn't it?

I applied for ILR without a passport of any kind, and I got an ILR without a passport of any kind.

HO issued me ISD (immigration status document). This is an A4 size document and there is an ILR sticker attached to it, and also some other things written on it. The sticker on ISD is the same exact sticker that goes on a passport.

Now I think you can sleep well tonight.
I'm preparing my application form and regarding the absence of passport I got one question.

Did they ask to provide any proof that your passport is not with you?
Which document did you provide?

I've only the receipt from High Commission.
