Hi, well when i contacted the college previously, this was my main concern, the college said that when the appeal is won, then the college can issue out a new CAS letter. Also this may be sent to UKBA if they ask for it when they ask you to send the passport.

Our CAS letter had the date of last acceptance as 21st May!

But the college insists that the CAS dates shouldn't be a problem.

Hi,

We have been advised by an agent in Pakistan, to withdraw the college fees now. He said, the college may close down and you will lose your money?

Is that possible in a country like UK? We have bank transfer reciepts, a CAS letter stating the amount paid. Can we lose the money if the college shuts down? Surely theres legalities?

Please shed some light on this matter.

We dont want to withdraw our appeal as there is some chance the college may win the ongoing court appeal for its licence. Withdrawing application would mean we have to start right from scratch again and all that time would have been wasted for nothing.

If college(Private Business) shuts down, I think you will lose your money. It will be very very hard to get the refund anyway!!

Thanks for your reply.

Will there not a be a notice period? Surely the college has so many student's advance payments?

what you need to understand is this; its a business transaction between you and a business(in this case, college).
