but you might end up losing your passportzubby007 wrote:Samelamin wrote:zubby it doesnt work that way
they need to request the passport
, you cant just send your passport back
Yes,but i'm not going to wait HO to ask for it, or will they return it? I don't think so.
true but an A4 paper is much easier to misplace than a passport which is why some people prefer to have it on their passporttom_tom_tom wrote:What is the problem if you get your RC on an a4 sheet instead of your passport? It is the exact same?
As per my understanding still you are eligible for RC as your wife register with job centre and she is actively seeking for a new job.faisal48 wrote:Hi everyone,
I missed to ask a question about my EEA2 application in my previous post. I have sent my application on 06th Feb 2012 with all supporting documents and I am satisfied with all, but during this time my wife has to leave work because of personal reasons, her last day at work was 23rd March and she's looking for job again and registered herself with job center. She got her PR on 17th March which was sent together with my application. Do I need to inform HO about this change in circumstances or I shall wait for their decision.
Your answers will be appreciated.
I would not bother informing the HO. As your wife has been issued a Residence Certificate (and not PR. Permanent Residence is issued after 5 years in the UK), the HO already reviewed her case and it is unlikely they will check if she is still employed when dealing with your application. Sending information now would just confuse things and probably delay your application.eea2raheem wrote:As per my understanding still you are eligible for RC as your wife register with job centre and she is actively seeking for a new job.faisal48 wrote:Hi everyone,

Please email or call to HO to ensure if they need any other supporting documents. They may ask you to send some supporting documents related to job centre registration and her interview appointment letters.

Ask them if that means it has been assigned a case worker? it has been a very long time but people are right we have to be patientgoodies wrote:I just got a reply from HO saying my application
is still under consideration. It's almost four months since
I applied and has not even been assign to a case worker yet.
I hope I need to wait and pray for a couple of weeks.

As far as I know, once you get COA, it means your case was assigned to a case worker. You can check the letter and there is a case number and it's signed by a case worker too.goodies wrote:I just got a reply from HO saying my application

True but the fact of the matter is people have received their EEa quite smoothly after around 3 months (on average) till something happened that is delaying it.Jambo wrote:And how do you know this is not how the HO operates?Samelamin wrote: cases that take a substantial amount of time should be given to someone and taken aside so they can get through the rest of the applicants
Maybe it is. Maybe it is not. No one knows.
