Hi mbist,mbist wrote:Hi All,
I am glad to inform that I just received all my docs back (in my next day delivery envelop) with a letter which says that I'll receive my PR Card within 10 days!!! I am v. happy and relieved and best of luck to all you guys who,v been patient enough.
So, my assumption of 5 months and 10 days for non-EEA was exactly correct, as I applied on 05 Nov.
I applied for PR Card as 'retained right of residence after divorce'. If anyone has any qs or queries on docs or how to arrange them, I will be glad to help and thanks so much for the people behind this forum and those helping others to get through this stressful period
Cheers!
Thanks. That was helpfulmbist wrote:Hi Ade/lubmob,
Below is my list of docs I sent, I think my case was straightforward and that’s why I received PR in good time. My EEA Ex-wife had received PR few years ago, so that makes things much simpler for the Case officer. Also, she co-operated and provided me with certified copies of her docs.
Those who’s sponsor haven’t got PR will have to prove that sponsor was exercising treaty rights (job details, study, details, looking for work) and also provide all their travels in the last 5 years.

Yes MusicaMúsica wrote:Congrats!!!! But it was a long wait :/
Anyone who apply in 2016 and received PR? Looks like they still processing November 2015
If your wife has been working since 2008 until 2015 , there should not be any problems for you getting PR. Are there any gaps between the qualified period? or you might submit the wrong application form. As I remember HO will only refuse you application if they are not satisfy and you have to re apply for RC while you wait for the appeal decision. I don't think they can give you RC because they not satisfy with your application. If you sure you submit the correct form then I suggest you should contact HO.There should be a decision letter which in my case I received it before the arrival of PR card. Have a look at it there might be contact number that you can call and find out what went wrong with your PR application.Oliver2011 wrote:Dear BelluciBelluci wrote:Oliver2011 did you submit all relevant documents ? please give more details about your application including all documents , so our helpful friends in this site can help you identify what is a problem?
