There is no logic in who gets email confirmation vs those who gets written correspondence vs those who gets both. For long as youu fall in either of those 3 scenarios, you're sound (as pound!) :)

Eligibility criteria: 10 years + 1 year ILR
Language criteria met .. life in the uk and B1
nationality: Pakistani Method of application: NCS
Council name if NCS used: hatfield
Date of application:11/03/2015
Payment method:credit Card
Date of receipt by UKBA: 12/03/2015
Date of acknowledgment: 20/03/15
Date of debit or clearance of fees:18/03/15
Date approval received: Waiting
Date of ceremony: Waiting

Weird! I would have expected the immigration place would be a tyrant for doing exactly the same thing for each application and would send emails to everyone..... but then again... I did read a month or two back that someone was initially granted citizenship who even stated in their application that they didn't qualify. LOL I believe it was revoked, if I remember correctly.

Wow... Why would they even apply if they knew that they would not qualify??.....

Prolly coz in certain scenarios basis of your non qualification falls under discretion (presuming you've met all other criteria).

Mine is single, yet still waiting... I wish I enclosed special delivery envelope with it when submitted through ncs, maybe should send it now anyway with the reference to my case number?....... Good luck for today to all of us who are still waiting!...

Phoned to enquire about a private ceremony and someone cancelled for one tomorrow! Woohooo! Just gotta find someone to pick up my daughter from school now.. yikes!
