Very Strange......does that mean...

1) they have decided our cases long time ago but keeping documents with them

or

2) they decided the case only few days before sending them back to us but put the date of validity closer to the date of submission of application to show that EEA applications are accelerated as per laws

or

3)case was decided long time ago and documents was sent at the same time to worldbridge but worldbridge is not forwarding the documents at time.....

i don't know what is right but would like to find out....i wonder if anybody knows...

As far as I remember, I had the same experience when applied for a business visa and also for a tourist visa a couple of years ago.

I suggest you read Residence documents for non-EEA family members of EEA nationals.

I went through the link but could not figure out that after applying for EEA2 as a family member of British Citizen, will we get the residence card valid for 5 years

or

can a family member of British Citizen apply for ILR or PR after 2 years of living in UK as its already been more than two years of living together outside UK?

The Residence Card would be valid for 5 years. If you are going via the EEA route, Permanent Reaidence will only be obtained after 5 years of residence. The 2 years to ILR is only for a spouse visa under the UK immigration rules.

The UK has removed the requirement to obtain permission from the HO to get married. I don't think you will face any problem marrying in the UK.

that's a good news.....i was not updated about it so i just need to go to the registrar's office to take the date of marriage?

I'm not very familiar with procedures but I believe you need to give notice and after 15(?) days you can get married.

You proved your durable relationship already for the EEA FP. It's unlikely the HO would challenge that so there is no need to marry to ease the EEA2 application.

I would suggest you marry when you feel it is right.

I suggest you apply for a RC early.

You will need proof of ID (passport) when registering for marriage. You will need to send the passport for RC application (although you can also ask for it back and it will not affect the application).

I suggest you work out what is the best option for you.
