I submitted letter from my employer and bank statements to prove my earnings. I also showed bank statement for maintenance funds. I lost my degree therefore i sent my duplicate degree to HEC for verification and i sent HEC Attested degree for both my education and IELTS requirements.
i think cases with HEC attested degrees do not undergo verification thus they are processed quicker. whats your opinion?

Okis it me not looking at my screen properly or its ukba people trying to hide their incompetence by being creatuve. There is something mentioned just after the customer service standards which says that the clock starts ticking when biometrics are taken and stops when "decision is made". It means that they have decided my application well within time as it was sent back too pk on 17/05 and my application was made on 21/04.

I got this reply on 15-Jul-2010 for my wife Tier 1 Dependant Visa but have not yet received any news from the Gerry's. Does someone know how much it will take to get the passport once we get this email (shown below)?

Per their email it will take a short amount of time, but does someone know how much short amount they are reffering too?

Please let me know.
Thanks.
Slaam

Dear Mr. *****,

Thank you for your email of 05/07/10 enquiring about the progress of your visa application. I can confirm that the application has been processed but due to the high number of visa applications we have recently handled there is currently a queue of decisions awaiting printing. You will therefore have to wait a short amount of time to collect your decision. Please accept our apologies for this delay.

Please do not contact the Visa Application Centre (Gerry's) directly as they will be in touch with you as soon as they receive your paperwork. You can track the whereabouts of your documents at www.ukvacpk.com .

Yours sincerely,

Visa Enquiry Desk

In response to my emails complaining about the delays sent to various email addresses mentioned in this forum i have just got email from the Abu dhabi office saying:

I am pleased to inform you that the entry clearance application has been approved and the applicant will be contacted shortly by our commercial partner with advice on how to collect his documents. I apologise for the delay in dealing with your case.

Wish me good luck

Hi,

My wife has applied for Tier 1 Dependent visa on 24/08/2010. First day we had the status that ''Application forwarded to Islamabad OC on'' and after 4 days we got the status that ''Your Application has been forwarded to the Embassy for Processing'' and after 3 days now we have got the status that ''Processed Application returned TO AC''. Has anyone come across this before? Any clue as to what is going on?

Regards
Azee

One question guys..

The ukvacpk site says to provide translations for every document not in English.

Do I need to get the NADRA NIC translated too ?
