Is not it strange that fees were deducted in one transaction for both of us, one acknowledgement letter addressed to both of us, however she received her biometrics week ago but i have not received mine! Or is this normal?

You and i are in same boat. My wife's biometric invitation arrived but i have not received it yet. I called them few times and got different response each time. One told me to write an email to "nationalitybiometrics@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk" asking them to send you biometrics, give them your details in email, acknowledgement letter reference etc... At another time i was told to write a letter to Liverpool address from where one biometric letter was issued. You may want to try these options.

I am in real trouble now, I am moving house and cannot change my address with bank as I gave old address on payslip, UKBA blocking my life! No bank address change = no proof of address which I desperatly need for new address. Why are they taking so long just taking my money???

Hi Laky, you can redirect your mail with Royal Mail at a small cost, might help so that you don't miss important mail.

I called home office today and they gave me a different email address to enquire about the biometrics letter and change the referee's new address.
