I believe average waiting time for naturalization is 2-3 months ..........anyone else agree.

the HO states that it typically takes 'up to 6 months for the application to be considered and for the decision to be made'.
However, with that in mind, there are a lot of people posting on the immigration boards saying theirs have been dealt with within ca. 3 months. When I went for my NCS appointment, the lady told me that it's not unusual for them to see people for the citizenship ceremonies within 3 - 4 months after they had submitted their applications.

I paid with my credit card, and I checked today online banking says outstanding transaction £906. So that means that they get the money now? I am quite surprised to see this speed! I have to admit my application is straightforward as I only had 2 jobs in 6 years, I hold PR card as EU national and no criminal records..

I paid with my credit card, and I checked today online banking says outstanding transaction £906. So that means that they get the money now? I am quite surprised to see this speed! Just a quick update! I called today the nationality team line and the guy confirmed they got my application 27/06/2014 and processes the payment 02/07/14, yesterday, just 6 days after posting! Very good service and speed now let's see some approvals soon!! Good luck to everyone!!

Now I 'm applying for naturalisation. For section 1.22 of application form AN,

I 'm enclosing life in UK Test pass certificate.

For english language requirement, I already met the requirement in Titer1 initial/renewal applications. I studied my engineering in India & my university name also appears in point based calculator.
could you pls suggest me what document I should submit again for naturalisation to meet english language requirement ?? & which box I should select in the application ??

Hi there anyone applied on 11 June 2014 using October 2013 version of AN Form. I applied using this version without realising that newer version just released on 9 June 2014, any problem with it?

I applied on the 10th using the 2013 format,I don't think that should be a problem,the only difference is you have to confirm your email addy. So no problem in my own personal opinion.

two form are identical, page by page and contents as well. so should be okay..

The NCS person which I dealt with told me that most applications were being processed within 6-8 weeks at the time of my application. However, looking at the May timelines it seems like it may take a little longer... hopefully not too much longer. Good luck everyone.
