I've been wondering how you have been getting on. I would have hoped that by now they would give you a clearer answer than just a promise of being called back, but fingers crossed the ball is rolling... I have 11 days to wait now until I can start pestering them properly as well (3 Dec is the day when my 6 months are up). This is pretty ridiculous, isn't it... Looking forward to hearing more as you hear more yourself, and wishing you good luck xboone wrote:Quick update.
Been in contact with the Home Office and I think after persistant calling they have decided to leave a note for the case worker. Advised that the case worker will be in contact to let me know if there are any issues or a rough idea on what stage the application is in.
I submitted my application on the 16 May 2014, over six months and still waiting...still crossing fingers.
If there are people who have been waiting over six months the best thing in my opinion is phone, write, get in contact with MP and constantly dont stop pestering them.
Have a good weekend all

Hello Everyone,
I'm a Hungarian lad, I spent 6 and a half years in the UK and worked from the second day after landing without a pause. I spent only 72(!) days outside in the relevant 6 years period. I applied as a worker. I was(and have been)eligible in any way and applied through the NCS service in May (!). I have received the receipt pretty fast and I haven't got anything since that.
6 months passed now. I am anxious because if the Home Office sent me a letter and I failed to receive that and failed to organize my ceremony within a given period I can loose everything:money, time, validity of certificates and so on.
Please help to answer some questions: is the submit letter registered? Shall I receive a message about the decision in electronic form or just the letter? Do I have to make any action now to find out what the situation about my case? If I need to know the situ, where can I start?
I know how difficult to get any info about this things. I tried to call the 08450105200 with no success. Is it worth to try the 03001232253 also?
Is it normal if somebody not receive a confirmation letter after 6 months? Is it happen with a lot of people now? Maybe because the HO is busy 'cause everyone wants to finish their application before the election year(changes...)?
My case I believe is so simple:no partner, no children, no criminal record. I even passed very serious security vetting in my workplace(every technician should pass this DVA vetting even the native English colleagues!).
My address, phone number, workplace and all conditions are the same as the moment of application. So now I would like to know what's the matter with my case and need an idea how can I can get this info.
Any help will very welcome!
Thanks for helping!
Have a nice day!
Cheers
L. Krisztian
