Think they are very diplomatic in their answers.

They don't want to get in trouble by saying something silly, neither want to release any more information than they are allowed.

Hi thanks for your reply. What really gets me is they say dont call until after 6 months and then we all get the standard reply your application is not completed yet u have to wait for UKBA to contact u , which is not helping in any way. they call this an update should employ a robot just to keep saying this. Will call them next week again.

Hey congrat Ronhir,

Atleast you got in 6 months time frame on a postal set o application.

Sorry for those who been waiting for over 6 months, including me...

Guess they are prioritizing in some way or the other, specially the set m cases they are doing in less than 4 months. and in your case, may be 4 dependents came in your favour.

Not completely sure tho. Anyone more with dependents and still waiting over 6 months???

Please contribute ppl..

Hi Pheena,

Great news for u. congrats.

So ur waiting didn't go waste, as you got the naturalization in an other 2 months. good to hear that.

a quick question. for naturalization, you dont really have to wait an other 1 yr from the date you got the ILR? or do they count from the date you applied for ILR?

Let me know

thnx

To sacks and others waiting for over six month,
I know how it feels because I waited for over nine Months (set m) before I got my approval in march 2013. I didn't do anything except calling once after the six months mark just to make sure they my application was with them
then i kept praying and waiting until they finally sent my approval.

I applied for naturalisation in april and got my approval in may 2013
So just hang in there: delay is not denial and most times no news means good news.

Hi guys,
Just a quick query on neutralisation; for those of us who have waited 7.5 months or more to get ILR decision from the home office.....do we have to wait another 12 months or is there an exception for us. Please share successes as well. Thanks

Don't worry mate, think they started processing all those delayed applications, after having so many calls, letters and complaints.

Need your Kind Support

Post by mschauhan » Tue Jun 11, 2013 8:43 am

Hi All,
As I mentioned in my timeline, I applied for ILR on 7th of December 2012 with 2X dependants and got my biometrics done on 15th of January 2013. From that date to onwards, didn't hear anything from UKBA.
Just by yesterday, I called ukba helpline. The officer asked me 4-5 questions and replied me with the most frequent and typical answer:
"Your application is in process, you have to wait until UKBA contacts you."
Though I told him in the start of my call that my application have completed 6 months time frame :-/
The way he replied was clearly indicating that I should not contact ukba further plus I also feel it useless to contact them via phone :-/
Is there any way I can send them my request via email. Do any of my respected fellow members of this forum know any specific email address/addresses where at least somebody can get a satisfactory answer. It would also be appreciable if somebody can recommend their official address where I can send a hard copy of my complaint. This seems to be quite ridiculous to me to be honest. Should I call them again and again as if its fruitful.

Best Regards

I applied on 28th Aug 2012. Very soon I will be completing my 1 year :) wait. Almost finished 10 months now and only 2 more months to go for a whole year :). I am exhausted now. Tried all sorts of things. Tried emailing and sending letters as well. I only got the standard response from them. Infact the complaints email address just rejected my email saying that address is not there in use anymore. But buddy, my advise is to continue doing the same stuff again and again (although I am no one to advice). Call them atleast once a week to make sure that they haven't lost our documents. Apart from that I honestly don't believe there is anything else we can do.

Good luck with yours. I sincerely hope you get yours soon.

Proudly (?) crossed the 6 months wait and managed to call UKBA number. Have spoken to a nice lady which couldn't help much but did mentioned that case workers are currently handling Oct 2012 applications and being a December applicant, I might have to wait for some more time.
