So I realised that the woman at NCS Maidstone spelt my first name incorrectly.. That might be the reason why my account hasn't been debited. I sent them an email asking how to correct this. Now I don't know what to do. Can anyone give me any tips ? Or maybe a number I can call to find out how to correct this. My passport, B1 Certificate, Life in the UK test and my actual application all have the correct name on them so, I don't know HOW she could misspell my name by one letter? I'm thoroughly disappointed actually... What number could I possibly call?

For some people it takes only 3 weeks, for others up to a year. Sorry it's taking so long for you

I wouldn't worry. I applied on the 19th and my fees were only taken today and someone else was the same this morning.

They received my application on 26th too and no payment taken either ... its taking them a long time. Makes you paranoid if they actually even opened your application

I would guess that if your fees haven't been deducted then they haven't opened your application.

Fee will be charged as per date they received the form, so if yours received on Thursday then fee will not be the new one.

I applied at Maidstone NCS and when I was there she told me that sometimes your invitation comes before your approval letter.
And thats what happened to me!

"We would like to congratulate you that your application for British Citizenship has been approved" and then they stated my ceremony date.

So random that each persons application is different, they should keep them all the same and do them in a logical order! But anyway!
I couldnt update the spreadsheet, the link wouldnt work for me = sorry!
