Method of application: NCS Leicester
Date of receipt by UKBA: 25/2/2012
Date of debit of fees: 28/2/2012
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 3/4/2012
Date of receipt of approval: 23/6/2012 (dated 21/6/2012)

14/6/2012 received letter to confirm evidence of residence for 6/4/2011 to 27/2/2012. (P60 sent)
23/6/2012 the approval letter says the application has been successful and that I should wait for invitation letter I wonder what would happen I don't receive it as they send it by unsecured delivery. I guess the approval letter is different from the others. no is 5/7/2012 and still no sign of invitation letter. I called Coventry register office but they don't have me in the system yet.

Maros if you have not received your invitation letter within 2 weeks from the date your approval letter was sent, you should contact the home office I think there is an email address in your letter get in touch with them and let them know you haven't received it, they should send you a new one, I'm also still waiting for my invitation letter but 2 I can't contact them yet because only Monday will be 2 weeks since I had my approval!

hi. I sent them email on Monday (3days earlier) and I will do that on next Monday as well. I sent them a letter with prepaid envelope on Wednesday ( at least to have some proof if something goes wrong). But still no response. I also contacted local council (very friendly man ) he would book it for me but he did not find me in the system. I also call them but they said that I can only send them an email so I guess I just have to wait, it is a bit frustrating as I can't really do anything. Good luck with yours and let me know please when you get it. Thanks

Jonbonn I'm not sure if they follow the same procedures in all applications but in my case they sent all my documents back with my approval letter in the pre paid special delivery envelope i provided and now I'm waiting for my invitation letter so I can contact the council to arrange my citizenship ceremony.

Maros I know the feeling it is very frustrating but unfortunately we can only wait, I let you know when I receive mine hopefully this morning!!

Hi guys

I still haven't received mine since my last post. I applied on 8th March via Westminster Council NCS.

Which number did you call to UKBA to check the status? Everytime I called to the number on the acknowledgement letter, the call jumped to voice mail straight away.

Thanks.
