Thanks for this.

It appears that travel for work and family reasons does take precedence over other reasons which in my case is visiting my girl friend. But I believe it does not set this out as a hard and fast condition. A bit of explanation and may be a level of trust between me and Embassy (which may develop) after another I don't know how many trips can get you a longer validity.
But I will get in touch with the Embassy directly regardless to see their take on it. They are generally quite responsive.
