Hi,
Could you please explain me what is the minimum salary requirement to get work permit visa? one of my friend saying minimum 20000£ another friend saying minimum 20700£ per year. Is there any rules has been changed after April 2012. I m totally confused please help me out...!

Salary depends on the job you were assigned by your employer to do. UKBA has an official Code of Practice http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/business-sponsors/points/sponsoringmigrants/employingmigrants/codesofpractice/ where you can find your position and resposibility and the minimum wage required for it.

If you want just general guidance, here is the list of all the appropriate salaries http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/working/tier2/general/eligibility/appropriate-salary/

Hope this helps! I suggest you consult with your HR and UKBA codes of practice before applying!
