HIE
1)i came to uk sevenyears ago as a student HO denied my student visa in 2008 i appealed but failed.i couldnt get legal help coz i didnt have the money .now out of nowhere in 2011 i received letter form home office CRD to submitt my passport and photos as well as my dependents.i did so hopping i would get a visa. but home office have not replied me till now ,infact they even send me the same call letter to a month later and i wrote to them informing them i had send the documents already.then a couple of months ago my husband rang the reporting center to arrange for repoting as he has submitted a fresh asylum claim and included me as his dependent.thereporting center asked to talk to me and asked for my status and explained everything to them and they said the last record they have for me is when my appeal sfor student visa failed so i am now puzzled as to where my documents have gone and what i should do . help! i am aware the CRD which was dealing with asylum cases has closed
.i really dont know how my case ended up in the asylum department ....

2)if i have to persue an asylum claim would it help if i state that my sister was granted asylum in canada.since my whole family is at risk of persecution due to my sisters political activities?
