Hey everyone,
New here and in need of some help with a fiance visa application.
My girlfriend is a filipina and works as a nurse in Kuwait and gets £9,000 every three months.
The problem with me is I'm not working and I claim DLA and Incapacity Benefits which I know is public funds which won't be good but it's good to know that I'm exempt from the new rules of £18,600 but I'm wondering and thinking how much would I need to show for fiance visa application? Could I use savings? If so how much would I need to show?
If I had a job that pays a lot it will affect my DLA and I need to go onto the new rules and save up £62,500.
Please help on the financial part.
Thanks so much and God bless all |

how much savings have you got?
also please bear in mind that you will have to be on DLA all the way until your partner spends 5 years in UK and gains ILR. If you come off dla then you or her or both comined will have to fulfill new financial requirement. |

About the meeting requirements.
Say if we applied for a fiance visa how much time would we need to spend together in the flesh?
Would it matter if it was 10 days or a full two weeks?
We chat almost every night through a Viber on our iPhones and Raspberry messenger all the time and of course Skype every single evening and I've saved all our chats and conversations for future applications and of course there will be tons of photos when I'm there.
How many photos of us together do you think will be enough?
I would be so grateful for all the help on here |
