Dear all, I thank you all for your assistance,
I have just received my approval letter and would like to find out if i Can book my citizenship ceremony at another council because my local council only have bookings in 4 weeks time and i was looking to do it sooner. Also can someone please advise me how to go about booking a private ceremony and if so can it be done at any council?
Many thanks |

Trying to book with another council might take longer as your Certificate is already with your local council.
Check for a private ceremony with your local council, it might be quicker. |

Re dress code - You might want to look your best in photos after the ceremony. _________________ Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.

It's really a personal preference. The dress code range from jeans and t-shirt to three-piece suit. I would recommend shirt and formal trouser as once you are there you will realise how special the day is. |
