My friend got HSMP in April 2008. He is continuously living in the UK since then and will apply for ILR in March 2013. He and his wife entered in the UK in June 2008. His wife stayed with him in the UK initially for 13 months, then she went back home and lived there for around 15 months.

She came to the UK again and stayed another 10 months here and returned back home again. This time she lived there for 15 months.

So total period she has lived in the UK as a dependent is 23 months. Now she will be back in the UK in November 2012 and wishes to apply for ILR together with her husband in March 2013.

Is she eligible to apply for ILR in March 2013? If not what are the best options available to her? Thanks!

supplying these info would be a good start:

her dependent visa dates (start, exp)

dates of various exit/entry from/into UK.

Moderator's valuable times have been wasted unnecessarily by people posting messages on behalf of friends and relatives. I think it would be a good idea if the Main Applicant post the messages direcly to the moderator or to some memeber. Giving the full details.. then the best advice could be given. We must always remeber the advice, Which is free,of course. Keep up the good and excellent work.

Bad idea. The sole purpose of this forum is to discuss cases publicly. There are many 'ghost' readers on here who learn a lot from reading other people's queries and answers.

I have No problem with that. Whether mine is a Bad idea or not.

Forum will become very robust and effiective, when the Main applicant Posts the question(s) to the Moderator or a Member. It's then very easy to deal with the matter quickly, with out wasting valuable time.
